Concert at Wrigley

It seems the the dave mattews band will NOT be playing at Wrigley Field this year. Mattews wife is pregnant, and he is scaling back shows this year. He was to be there on July 5th and 6th. Smaybe Jimmy will be there. If he is then no Alpine Valley again this year. The Police might be there instead of Jimmy. I'd rahter see Jimmy at AV. NOT Wrigley.

you can see the police at Wrigley during every game.. no novelty there.

This isn't a popular view, but I'd rather see Buffett at Wrigley than AV any day...

and Moeron...wouldn't you get in free since you work at Wrigley???

I didn't think I'd enjoy the Wrigley Field concert, and was wishing it was Alpine Valley instead. But that show was one of the best ever, I.M.O.

And, at this stage of his career, I'll be happy to see Jimmy at Alpine, Wrigley, Nome, Stonehenge, or WHEREVER.
As long as I'm there, I'm happy.

I'd get in phree, But sober. I want to pay and drink. Seeing Jimmy for free is nice, But I want a boat drink.

I would think that if the Police concert happens they would take both dates. Odds are you would not get 2 different concerts back to back.

The police would be good for the tribune. That way they could scalp tickets as well as control beer sales too. I would rather see jimmy at AV. Even if I had to pay to see him. This way I could let whats left of my hair down.

All the talk is of a single performer, and since it is back to back dates, it really would have to be--if you saw the extras on the Wrigley DVD, you saw how much time and work went into converting that beloved ballpark into a concert setting.
