Anybody else as crazy about Alison Krauss as I am? That woman has the most incredible voice!

I love her. The voice is achingly beautiful. Love the duet she did last year with Sweet Baby James (Taylor).

Didja know that she's won more Grammies (20) than any other solo female artist? Stevie Wonder's 21 is the most for a solo male artist.

I've never heard her music, though I have heard tons of good about it.

I have the hardest time picturing her though. Every time I see her name, I think of Allison Krause who was one of the "4 dead in Ohio," at Kent State in 1970.

I'm always confused as to how she could be singing now, if she had died at Kent State nearly 40 years ago! :o
and Jimmy theres still so much to be done...

I caught her duet with John Waite earlier this week on Leno, not bad even though I was never much of a fan of the song to start with.

Allison is due to work on a duets album with Robert Plant later this year that will be produced by T-Bone Burnett (of O Brother, Where Art Thou? fame). That ought to be interesting to say the least.

I've seen the video and think that she really does shine at all on it.
She does not seem into the song to me. Rather monotone or uninspired sounding imo.
Usually I like her voice but this butchery of one of my favorite 80s song is uncalled for.....well, unless you're John Waite
