I saw that on the news yesterday. That's pretty wild! Good idea though. Hopefully itll save some lives!

I'm curious to see where this thread goes, so let's get this party started. I have never experienced a talking one but have seen ones with pictures on the for lack of a better term, urinal cakes. I remember seeing a bunch of Osama Bin Ladin ones after 9/11. I really appreciate palces that ahev the sports page hanging up too. That's pretty sweet.....

Ummm K, not sure what to say. If the guy is too drunk he may end up talking back, and that's something I don't want to encounter in the restroom.

Personally, I don't think they'll do a thing to reduce drunk driving. Do they really think that people just forgot that driving drunk wasn't a good idea? Let's face it, those who drink and drive know facts and choose to ignore them - they fully intend to drive out to the bars, drink, then drive home. Unsolicited reminders from a talking p*** aren't going to trigger any epiphanies.

The batteries only last 3 months? I wouldn't want to have to be the guy that changes them when they die!!

You may be right but I look at it like what's there to lose? It certainly isn't going to encourage anyone to Drive Drunk so it can't hurt!

I dunno about that - I've done pretty well thus far by doing the exact opposite of anything I've been told to do by a plumbing fixture.

They should put a little more technology into this and test the urine before the message starts.

good idea but then theyd cost a heck of a lot more than 21 bucks a pop! and also then i have to believe that if someone drove after a talking urinal cake told him it was ok to drive and he was actually wasted then theyd prolly have some liabilty issues.
