AS OF TODAY - ALL WRISTBANDS HAVE BEEN MAILED OUT. PM me if you still have not received yours by Thursday

HOTEL INFORMATION
Magnolia Hotel Downtown Houston. If you were on the room list, please PM me for your confirmation number.

TAILGATE INFORMATION

The lot is at the corner of Jackson and Franklin. See the picture above. The entrance will be on the Franklin street side. The physical address is 2704 Franklin.

We will be there around 8am to start setting up. :wench: There is no official start time so arrive when you are ready to play!

The phone list was sent out. PM ragtopW if you didn't get it.

T-SHIRTS
The t-shirt order has been placed. We will have them to pass out friday night at the bar and bring the left overs on Saturday to pass out.

For those of you who are not coming to the show and ordered a shirt, we will bring them to Dallas (if you requested that) or we will mail them to you.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO A CHARITY YET TO BE DETERMINED

WEEKEND EVENTS

Friday - 4/20

4-7 ish Happy Hour, drinks and dinner at Cabo - http://www.cabomixmex.com/

then

Welcome to Houston bash @ the EighteenTwenty bar. We will have a dj and it will be a cash bar. The bar is on the corner of Hamilton and Franklin street. Park in the lot across Franklin. This is the City of Houston so be prepared to pay to park in any of those lots around the bar.

SATURDAY INFORMATION

Parking day of the show...

Our lot is for the tailgate only! We have one RV, the uhaul and two other trucks that will park in the lot.

For those of you who are local and just coming in for the tailgate and show, the Magnolia Hotel offers $9 special event parking. This is valet parking in a garage. I would recommend you park there and then walk to the tailgate. They do have another lot that is $6 to park in for the day but spaces are limited.

There are other lots around our tailgate lot. I do not know how much they are but I could see them charging $20 - $50 easily. That is why we recommend parking at the hotel and walking.

Everyone coming needs to walk into the party with a 6 pack of beer or a bottle in a cooler or container. Some will bring much more than that in personal alcohol. Sharing is allowed and encouraged and some of us insist that you liberally share our alcohol whenever you want and without asking. Blanket permission is given. The reason for you bringing some alcohol is that if asked we can all state we brought our own to share and we will be within TABC codes.

For some of the locals - feel free to bring chairs, tents and tables to help us with some of the set up.

your money has gone towards the following

15- 20' pool
dj
live band - jerry diaz and the entire hannah's reef band will play from 3-5
shot luge
margaritas
kegs
bottled beer
water and soft drinks
5000 jello shots (dbl last year)
sand
food - bbq from pappas and crawfish
vibrator races - remember to BYOV
naughty lessons :wench:
Cruzin' Coolers races
games
after hours party
and a ton more it all!

Who's coming down to Houston to help celebrate birthdays (mine and a few others) and Buffett in the bayou city?

Who's coming - bold means I have received payment and you should have a receipt from me. We are expecting about 175 for the tailgate...

Nope. You just have to name it "Who's going to the possible Houston Show" thread.

I used to live in Houston in the mid-sixties. Went to Galveston beaches....wonder if Jimmy was there surfing ? I remember these older teenager boys, surfing....they called me "bee girl" because my bathing suit was yellow bottomed with a striped black/white top. Hurt my feelings.
The humidity was almost oppressive sometimes. But I had my first boyfriend there. Wonder where David is now?
