When you call about that, ask if we can bring a jacuzzi. The guy who rents the portable ones is in Houston. Also can we get there early and BYOB?
and if Bill is there I KNOW we can pull off something BIG

Never saw a pool at Minute Maid Park. (I know there is one at Dell
Diamond in Round Rock.)

Don't know if it is still there, but there used to be a place called Larry's Big Bamboo, named after Larry Dierker. It is a tropical theme bar located past the outfield and accessible from the street.

Judging from the website, coordinating a party in a parking lot that everyone can get to sounds like a pain. If they'll open it up, a preshow party in a suite might actually be the way to go. If we cap it at 200 people and make it $50 per person, we'll have $10k to play with. Surely we can do something with that.

Oh hell yes.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'm liking that idea, Mr. Mayor .... a suite ... yeah ... sounds really great! :D

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't want a stadium show.

Yes, I'll attend, but I'd rather it be at a smaller venue where I might at least see Jimmy without the big screens :-?

I like the intimate shows better as well, but I'm not going to pass on an opportunity to see JB when he's within driving distance from my house!

....actually, I'd like a some cold tequila and a little acoustic guitar on my patio (or at the Pharm), but I don't see that happening. Image
