That's what I was hoping you would say. I love CC, but it's been a few years since I was last there. I love sitting at the bayfront.

We'll see. I'll be taking summer school classes so I'm not sure if I'll be able to give up a whole weekend to go to CC. Hopefully I'll be able to do it gets put together.

Ken Hoffman of the Houston Chronicle wrote a tongue in cheek article about Jimmy's coughing/hacking at Minute Maid, and he made the following comment:

"Buffett reportedly was thrilled with the facility, so I'd look for more concerts at Minute Maid Park."

The complete article

Maybe he'll be back for an encore performance at MM next year. :D

I know this might be sacrilege to some, but I've spent a lot of time since the Houston show listening to Peter Mayer on WAIT IN VAIN and comparing it to Marley's version ...

I really like Peter's take on the song ... and the harmonies from the CRB just add sooo much.

I remember hearing Pete and the Reefers doing Waiting In Vain way back in 1996. Loved it then and it just keeps getting better and better. They seem to pull it out at SPECIAL times and I was surprised to hear it at the really BIG show.

you're right, they did it in Aspen back in '05. I'd call that a special time.

I liked the Houston version a bit better than the '05, but it's getting hard to remember the Houston show  and it's only been 23 days or so...
