I could have been in Wisconsin.
Common sense is a hard thing to get a handle on…….I see more Buffett in your future.

:o :o :o There's probably more Buffett in Larry's future than a lot of others futures here!

Thanks to all for the great info for Alpine! A great time was had by all. Us 40-50 somethings lasted waaaaaay longer than the 20 somethings in our group! Standing on a hill watching the overdoers wander lost and seeing how some of the buses got out was almost as good as the show! We will be back!
Thanks!!

At least the shirt made the big screen last night. Great show!!! Stories We Could Tell" was a big surprise for the encore. I think that describes the Alpine experience perfectly. :D

Once again, a great time. Sorry I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to but it was great seeing the people that we did. Great food Jim! Really sorry I missed Tiki (When I came over she was away and the second time Eric walked over I was busy and didn't come with him), Jolena, Eric, J (and even inga) (didn't find the time to come and find the VE buses and j's # wasn't on the list). One thing I really loved about the show is that may be the most enthusiastic that I've ever seen the crowd at Alpine - it seemed like the crowd started up and never came down. Jim - I was wrong about our row too - we were in VV not XX and I looked for you a bit in XX but had no luck in my alcohol haze.

Nice meeting txaggirl91, Capt. Flock, Wino, habourgirl and others that I may have forgotten meeting :pirate:

Amazing day. And unfortunately, my laptop battery burnt during the concert and took out any chance of recording. Is there any possible way someone could help me out and send me a copy? This is just my 2nd show ever and would love to re-live it. Thank you so much!

Did anybody find my watch? I lost it on the way out when some idiot tried to start a fight with me.

Other than that, GREAT SHOW. Totally worth the 9+ hour drive.

thanks again to everyone for making my first alpine trip memorable. it was an amazing show. looking up and seeing all those people doing fins sent chills down my body. this is definately one of the best shows i have been to and you can count on me to be back.

CaptainP - my killer j teamie - you hosted a kick ass tailgate. thanks for coordinating it all. i had a blast with you and still love you even if your tongue is longer than mine! :P

my roadtripping buddies - all i can say is "damb did we miss the exit again?" i will never look at a road side rest stop again without thinking of this trip. and finally "stereo snoring"

all the people i met (i updated my list) i'm so glad to put names to faces. bn'ers are the best and i always enjoy adding to the phamily.

the invitation to come to a texas show and tailgate with us is open!
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

WOW! What a great day.

I actually avoided BN yesterday on purpose. Like Janice said, I needed a day to decompress from Alpine and finish soaking it all in.

I truly hope everyone had a great time at the tailgate party, and at the show itself. Thank you everyone for pulling your weight and helping to make it a success!!!! I'm really thinking about next year already, seeing if we can make a huge Alpine splash with a monster-sized BN tailgate.

Personal notes:

Janice, It was GREAT finally meeting you. We've talked and texted and PM'd so much, I really felt like I knew you already...now I really do. Meeting you was a real highlight of the weekend for you.

BG2: Now I have met the pair of you!!! It won't be the same just seeing Cindy anymore...you have to come with her everytime now!!!

BG: Cindy, thank you so much for the gift. Elena wore it yesterday already! She was indeed born to be a parrothead!! Heck, with her parents, she has no choice!!!

Tracy: A fun time as always. Does fun just follow you around? We never actually played Twister this year....that poor board. Abandoned without use.

Flock: Thank you so much for letting us use the bar!!! And dancing with Peggy....and humping more security guards. You really are a big teddy bear...

Gumbo Gal: Thanks for joining us again!!! The more the merrier...and I mean that. Next year, no limits on the size of my group!!!

Garry: I'm planning to use those trivia questions at work....I post one at work every day, lets see if anyone can get those!!!

Sarah: Beautiful Sarah, what can I say, I looked forward to meeting you for so long, and you didn't disappoint! Hope you'll make it again next year!!!

BMW & hubby: Great meeting you!!! Thank you for the generator! Saved the day.

Lisa, Lindsay, Tiki: What can I say....I know you all so well now that I consider you all amongst my best friends. Can't wait for the next Johnny Russler show!!!

Wade, INGA, Eric, Jolena, other Eric: Thank you all for dropping by...next year, I'm abandoning the pre-text of limiting the tailgate size. It never really works anyway. HOpe you'll all be able to join!

Jen & Jen: Hope you both got home safely...I'll stop stalking you now, I promise!!! Seriously, I was driving down 164 and suddenly recognized your car right in front of me. That was too funny.

Johnny & Cheyenne & Robin: Thank you for coming....we finally got to do Buffett together after all this time!!! Robin, our virgin sacrifice, hope you feel better.

Now the embarrassing part: To anyone I accidentally missed, I'm sorry...but I hope y'all had a great time!!!

I felt bad for the board - Tracy put it out and it kept getting trampled as people walked by. It got treated like a doormat

That's why I moved it, but still got no use.
