Its been a little more than 1 day and 14 hours since the show started and I'm still unable to focus. I've been to Buffett and I've been to Alpine, but never Buffett at Alpine... it was awesome!
We got there and setup in the yellow lot around 12:30, we had a Tiki bar to our left and a slip'n slide to our right. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect. I don't know where the BN contingent was, we walked around a bit hoping to find some of you whose posts helped us have a wonderful Alpine experience. By mid-afternoon we were already talking about next year.
The show hit every song I was hoping to hear and the second encore was simply amazing. I too would like a copy of the show audio if someone is making it available.
Phin's are still up!

Apparently, when we went over by Jim the first time, you had just ventured out and I didn't get over there with Eric the second time he went over. Someday......

Having a hard time finding words...
Had a really great day at Alpine ~ wish we could have a phew phamily reunions like that per year!

Heartfelt gratitude to absolutely everyone I hugged, spent time with, and talked to, all of whom made it such a special day! Alpine's a happy place... I feel the love!
I'm definitely bummed I missed ya Wade!

Also....wish more of you could have made it Friday night in Janesville....TC was great!!! and he also played the flute in the parking lot with The Whaleshark..... I think a lot of people didn't recognize him, Erik was asked not to announce who he was while he played... Thanks TC for a great time, looks like you had fun too

Also, thanks to Snake and a few of the other crew for coming Friday night... The Jello Shots really kicked my A$$ Friday night.....wow
Had dinner with Snake, Charleston and a few others Friday, that was great...didn't have much time before we had to FLY back to Janesville, but it was great meeting them and hanging out...

I still can't get over how great my seat was for the concert.
SECOND ROW, DEAD CENTER!!!
I saw "row W" on my ticket, and figured it was 23 rows back from the stage, but the pavillion starts at row V. (After the pit/V.I.P. section, which is only a few rows, and they're
BELOW the stage.
I was so close, I didn't have to look at the big screen once.
Doyle even waved to me from the stage. When I gave him the "thumbs up," he did the same to me. (It sure LOOKED like his thumb, anyway).
I've said it 1000 times already, but what a GREAT weekend.
NEXT YEAR we need to make it a four day event. There just was NOT enough time to mingle with every one.
HOW ABOUT IT, CAPTAIN P?
NEXT YEAR? FOUR DAYS?

Fantastic to see all others too, and hopefully the guy who used our parrot on his car fin will stop by and say hi - or maybe CaptP & Txa will have to paddle him again?

For the record, Janice did all the paddling. I only paddled the woman who was there for her birthday....
...well I also did Eric, but that's just because he has such a sexy behind!!!
i cuffed and whipped.....

I was at the Alpine show and I agree a great show, a great experience, just great everything (except for our bus hitting a car while trying to sneak out after the show

). The 2nd encore was great. The whole package was the best out of the 3 I've been too at Alpine.
But, I don't know who else has heard a vicious rumor that Buffett will not be back to Alpine again, which I think partly has to do with the rumor that Alpine Valley is closing. I do think there is some truth to the closing Alpine because my friend here at work has a friend who works in the Wisconsin music business and is related to Alpine facilities, and he was told that Alpine might be closing this year.
It would be a sad, sad day if that turns out true. It's a premiere venue for outdoor concerts in the Midwest. Sorry if I put your Buffett experience at Alpine down

It was a great day at Alpine!! I got a chance to meet tiki and The Balcony Girls all who were fantastic. (I was the guy in the Jimmy Buffet Mask)
I had a Blast. The crowd was a good as I have ever seen! (with the exception of those people who were directly in front of us, they sat for the entire show. What a waste of good pavilion seats.)
Thanks to all who make that such a great day for me. Its always my favorite day of the year!!
