Hey All!!!!!!
Everything I could have said, has already been posted. I had a blast. I am still feeling the affects from this weekend. Weather was perfect, concert was amazing. The only unfortunate part was not making to the BN area. I was the designated organizer for the day, so it seemed like I never had any free time. Hopefully next year we will meet up.

NEXT YEAR we need to make it a four day event. There just was NOT enough time to mingle with every one.

I do think there is some truth to the closing Alpine because my friend here at work has a friend who works in the Wisconsin music business and is related to Alpine facilities, and he was told that Alpine might be closing this year.
It would be a sad, sad day if that turns out true. It's a premiere venue for outdoor concerts in the Midwest. Sorry if I put your Buffett experience at Alpine down
Sad--- maybe... Still think they should have closed the venue the day after THEY let the late great SRV take off in a helicopter.

The thing is, I'm not believing the "Alpine is closing" rumor until they make an official announcement.
Why?
Because I've heard this rumor for at least the last 5 years, probably longer. Yet it is still there. I know it is. I was just there.
