question

Post by lhalver »

Will there be a preasale for this show? I have tried to get tickets for my parents for an anniversary present the last couple of years, but have been unable to ever get any tickets. Since this show goes on sale on a Monday, I will be working and unable to order them, so it would be great if we could see a presale in hopes that I could possibly gain some tickets this year!! If anyone has any ideas about a possible presale, please let me know!! Thanks so much :)

I have never heard of tickets going presale at Alpine Valley. That said, It dosen't mean that it ever will. I think that the odds would be better if Jimmy had 2 shows at AV.

Is it even possible to get pavilion seats when tickets go on sale or do they all go to clubs and companies? Every year we try to get tickets and all they have are lawn; if your lucky.

Whats the best way to get them; without paying way over face value?

I checked the ticket exchange the first year, went thru ticketbstard the second, and last year I was on eBay and ended up with a pair a couple days before the show for under face and fees.

Yeah thats what we end up doing; last year we got our tickets through alpines website like 3 days before the concert. I just wish i could find a way to get them early so i dont have to worry about it.

Anyone worried that Alpine Valley isn't listed on Ticketblaster yet? Just curious, I believe all other shows are listed.

Thanks and welcome Wildcat, I looked there earlier and it wasn't there or I just missed it. Hope "Wildcat" isn't a reference to K-State, says the Jayhawk!

Nope, my BA is from the U of Arizona!

My brother graduated from KU, so I root for you guys too (except for when we are playing of course!)

BTW, does anyone know Alpine prices yet?

I assume it is similar to Tinley's which are $126 and $86 for pavilion and $36 for lawn...

Alpine prices: Pavillion - $126; Lawn - $36. Bargain basement prices for some of the best entertainment your money can buy. Although the lawn is full of lots of youngsters, it's still always been a good time!
