Re: RVs allowed in Green Lot?

A quick question for clarification, are RVs allowed in the Green lot where everyone is planning on setting up? I saw the recommendation that they go to the blue lot... just didn't know if it was a requirement.
RV's are allowed in the green lots but you can't park there Friday night.
You can stay overnight after the concert on Saturday.

Mrs. Play reminded me that they had free shuttle buses to and from the remote lots when we saw George Strait last year. Traffic was a pain but it was better than walking, and I'm pretty sure they let us take beer on them too.

I asked her if she could put that I will be a late arrival on the reservation so they will not give my room away. Just a word of warning. You might want to call your hotel and have them put it on your reservation. She said that the front desk folks do sometimes give the rooms away. :cry:
I've been trying to figure out the possibility/feasability of a mid-afternoon hotel run to check in, rather than having to wait until after the concert. Is there any possibility of biking from PHP to the Embassy Suites?

They might have a shuttle! After work I will call and ask.

I wouldn't recommend riding a bike in concert day traffic. Whatever you do, stay away from the tollroad on a bike. It's a huge construction zone and it's a recipe for disaster with narrow lanes and concert day traffic.

If you insist on trying it, it would be just over 5 miles from the green lot to the hotel using this route (I could be a little off on the exact location for the Embassy Suites, but it's pretty big and you'll see it);

Parkwood is a 4-lane road with decent surface and lanes - not sure if there are sidewalks through there or not.

I just placed the order for 138 T-shirts. They are being shipped to me by next Friday 4/6 and I will receive them no later than Wed 4/11. I will turn them around the night I receive them, and I will have them mailed out with wristbands by Thursday 4/12. Giving it a week with regular mail, everyone should have them by Thursday 4/19.

My cost for shipping the T-shirts is still unknown, but I'm estimating we'll have about $400 to give to the charity from T-shirt sales. Here is the breakdown I have so far;

Income
Shirt Sales..............................$1,433.00
Extra Donations.......................$143.00
Total Collected.........................$1,576.00

Expenses
Shirt Cost.................................($980.00)
Paypal Fees..............................($39.74)
Estimated Shipping....................($150.00)
Total Expenses..........................($1,169.74)

Net Proceeds
Estimated Donation for Charity.....$406.26
