It was hot! And, do you remember they ran out of cold beer about halfway through the George Strait set? Talk about poor planning! You get a group of parrotheads and cowboys together for a 5 or 6 hour concert and don't bring some cold beer? That's just wrong!mydogbuffett wrote:The only thing I remember about the whole show was the heat. I had floor seats and was melting. I would never go to another show at Texas Stadium and have floor seats in the summertime no matter who was playing. I finally moved up to the nose bleed seats and enjoyed some of the show. All in all the experience sucked.

I remember all of the grumbling about the beer!! I also remember the guys in their starched shirts and wrangers... they looked hot. (in more ways than one) of course Grams wasn't looking. It was hot! It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

It's cold here today but i bet it'll be pretty warm 3 weeks from now.
I just bought over 60 lbs of brisket to get stocked up for the party. Thanks you, Tom Thumb & Albertson's for putting it on sale this weekend!

Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?
Bobby: No.
Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.
