You can barely make them out but the grass skirts are in the bottom picture, stacked against the wall next to the ladder. That entire wall is stacked with the stuff I have to fit on the trailer for the tailgate.
The base of the bar is on the front of the trailer, with the face down and the top facing you. The holes in the top are where the bamboo poles of for the roof will fit in to tie it all together.

The Leaky Tiki is going to be awesome!

FYI:

Kelly McGuire's working on a music video for his song "Blame It On Buffett" and is looking for video clips from parrot head events and parking lot parties....so, if anyone has or wants to take video clips of our tailgate for this effort, it might be cool to be included.

From an email sent out by Kelly to his mailing list:
I'm trying to put together a music video for "Blame It On Buffett"
Bring your video cameras, mini-dvd cameras and shoot lots of video.
And if you have video clips from Buffett Concerts, parking lot parties & parrot Head events showing the PH crowd - I could really use some - contact me and we'll talk.
(There's a good chance he and his band may be in the parking lot in Dallas. )
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

The LikiTiki Looks Phabulous!!! And leave it to Bill to try out the hottub in his garage...I remember seeing pics of the water slide inflated in his living room last year!! What a guy!
Cant wait to see everyone again and to meet (not MEAT) the ones Ive not met yet!

OMG--I have 'Buffett-Brain' so bad I cant even get any work done....

Musical interlude for Thursday 4/19/2007

Post by parrottheadbaby »

Ok...Here it goes....

So long boss, knock 'em dead, don't worry 'bout a thing
Wish that we could come along, we'd love to hear you sing
The limo's here, your bags are packed, the list is by the phone,
Me and Snake will watch your place and treat it like our own

Look at all this liquor
Look at all this food
It's only gonna go to waste
We're not really being rude
But the good stuff's in his closet, I swear he wouldn't mind
Hell, we''ll just shoot the lock off, I do it all the time

We're gypsies in the palace, he's left us here alone
The order of the sleepless knights will now assume the throne
We ain't got no money, we ain't got no right
But we're gypsies in the palace, we got it all tonight

There's damsels in distress out there and we got all this beer
We'll free them from their condos and bring them over here
We'll show them his Gold Records
We'll play his music loud
We'll party just like Bubba does
We'll do the old man proud

We're gypsies in the palace, there ain't no wrong or right
We're gypsies in the palace, and we're going wild tonight.

He's the greatest guy to work for, man, he's really cool
Hey Snake, this party's getting dull, throw someone in the pool
Hey, let's all take our clothes off and form a conga line
Watch out for that broken glass, hey Snake, we need more wine

We're gypsies in the palace, there ain't no wrong or right
We're gypsies in the palace and we're raising hell tonight, hey

Oh, hi there Boss, what's goin' on?
You say you're coming when?
I'll send Snake to pick you tomorrow night at ten, okay

Everybody out of here, the show is closing down
We've got to find someone to clean this up,
He's coming back to town

Hi there boss, we waxed your car, we raked and mowed
your lawn
We couldn't find enough to do in the short time you
were gone

Man it sure is peaceful here, you really got it all
If you ever hit the road again, give me and Snake
a call

We're gypsies in the palace, he's left us here alone
The order of the Sleepless Knights will now assume
the throne
We ain't got no money, we ain't got no right
But we're gypsies in the palace, we got it all tonight

Hello?
Hey, Jimmy, it's Glenn
Glenn, How ya doing?
Fine man, I'm going on the road, do you know anyone who
could house sit for me?
I got these two great guys that look after my place man,
they're the best.

Kewl! I never heard the original version of this, so I wasn't aware of it, but I can totally hear the Glenn Frey conversation in my mind's ear.

Not too long to go before we all start raisin' he** tonite!

Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!!! :pirate:
A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

The hot tub looks better in person, the pictures don't really do it justice.

In case anyone missed it, wheatsailor is in charge of coordinating RV parking. I just saw a copy of his initial plans, and he knows what the hell he's doing. If you're bringing an RV and want to be included in his plans, send him a PM or email if you haven't already.

I'm taking the Pirates to the FC Dallas game on Sunday. We get to go on the field before the game, which should be really cool for the kids. Should we take the Leaky Tiki and tailgate for a few hours before the game?

We have a cub scout outing Saturday afternoon/evening, but I think I'm going to listen to the 2nd set of the Houston show from the Leaky Tiki.

We are almost done with the TAKS and God it is dreadful. I need to unwind. If I were smart I would've bought a ticket for Houston as well....but I don't need a second mortgage. [smilie=asa.gif]
