I have a strong urge to "Do Dallas".
Houston seems the better fit though.
I wish the decision was not so damn hard!

My third Buffett Concert
My first post here. I am so excited I think I'll have to fix a Margarita to settle down! This will be the third time in a row for us to go to Dallas for Jimmy. Second time to tow a camper for 6 hours! But its worth it! Anyone know for sure yet if there'll be a place for us to park? Man! April 28th is a LIFETIME away!!! Can't wait to meet some of you there, I've been lurking here for over a year now. Nice to meet ya'll!
We're In and we're ready
Let me know what I can do to help - still have the porta potty connection, believe it or not...
I haven't heard back from Steve @ MargaritaShack.com yet, but I'll be seeing him next weekend.

Hey R2,
Tried any good tequilas lately? You coming to dallas/frisco? got my tix this morning and already called a spot at Phritz's for Houston...two shows in one week - haven't been able to do that since great woods. Huge dilemma though???
Does this mean I have to make 2x as many jello shots?
Can't you see the pics now? will have to rent a walk-in freezer somewhere and rent a truck just to transport them.

I was able to get a pair in section 131 through the Presale tonight, so we've got tickets now. Thanks for the offers!

Re: My third Buffett Concert
Yes, we were there. We bought our camper especially for the occasion. Actually, we had been thinking about it anyway, but that was the main motivator. That resulted in 2 Sea Doo's this summer. Couldn't have a camper without a reason to go to the lake... LOL! I had my 14 year old (now 15) with me and he is now almost as big a fan as I am! He's ticked that I didn't get him a ticket, but this year its time for adult fun (in other words mom wants to drink). He ran around in the rain and had a great time, partying with people every where. He looks about 5 or 6 years older than he actually is and enjoyed Margaritas and jello shots before I caught up with him! This year it will be my sister again (my best friend), our hubby's, and I am bringing 2 other couples to introduce them to Jimmy too. Can't wait!!!!RinglingRingling wrote:so where you last year for the Hoot Island festival?Sheri hearts Buffett wrote:My first post here. Re: We're In and we're ready
Sweet - I was looking for your number on the way home today. If you guys can cover a marg machine and a little generator to run it, we'll find people to bring a few batches of tequila and mix. PHarm Boy is welding a grill for the back of his SUV for burgers, and I'll bring a beer coffin full of beer. We need to limit it to one trip this time, so I'm not making any special trips for hot tubs or big generators this time.stewf wrote:Let me know what I can do to help - still have the porta potty connection, believe it or not...

All I know is that we got Floor B, row 39.
The sections go up from right to left (as facing the stage), but I wonder about the seat numbers... if they go up from right to left too??
Hey Snake, we need more wine!
