I agree - it wouldn't be *right* without ABQ!!!

I did not have a problem with the language at all - it was mentioned often in the planning thread about "adult-oriented" activities - no one should have been surprised by any of the language or antics if they had read the thread.

ABQKeet worked his butt off, not just for 16 hours, but he even stayed until almost 2:30 am helping us clean up and pack up, and he had an early flight back home.

Hope he can get some of his rookies to help him out next year with the DJ duties, so he can party with us more!

Thanks, Tyler, you're the bestest!!!!

I think ABQ is the reason so many of us newcomers felt at home. The guy has never met a stranger and made sure everyone was drawn in to the merryment. Way to go! I can't imagine the tailgate without him.

Just in case anyone missed it in the picture thread...

Dirtracer49 is putting together a picture slideshow with help from sunseeker. Due to the large file size, we will need to distribute it on DVD. I need 8-10 volunteers to burn copies of the DVD and mail it to 10-12 people so that everyone gets a copy.

So far it's just me and Garnet Bimbo distributing the copies.

Anybody else?

Even my 8 y/o keet knows to expect adult language at a BN tailgate although we don't use it at home, and it doesn't give him permission to use it either.

ABQKeet is enthusiastic and giving to adults and children alike...he'll stop what he's doing and help a keet with a question, and I wouldn't change a thing about how he runs the show. The man obviously has a zest for life and it shows.

It's because of his encouragement that the Breast Cancer Foundation is getting a check for $2300 from the fine BN folks that attended that party.

Attitude is everything.
Thanks ABQ.

Count me in Bill. I'd be happy to help.

Thanks again to you and Debbie and the Pharms for your efforts. This definately was the BEST tailgate I've seen in all of the 40+ Buffett concerts I've been to.

Am listening to the Frisco cut of SPIDER JOHN .... kudos to Bubba for saying "Another unique Texas thing ... the songs of Willis Alan Ramsey," at which point you can distinctly hear CRC and me screaming. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Jimmy really delivered the song. Maybe not as strong vocally as in Houston, but still a great tribute to his old friend and my old crush, Willis Alan. He didn't have to do the song in Texas ... my guess is that he did it to help WAR out ... The new CD is due to be released just any day now ... yeah. Right. See my sig line.

You sure that wasn't me screaming???

I agree, he delivered the song beautifully. My Dad thought that was too cool when I told him he sang 2 WAR songs in Texas.

Fixed it! :D

Your daddy raised you right ... on WAR and at the lake! What a great combination. :D

I saw that. Will that one be included on the disc, as I would love to get a copy of it?

It's funny, but I swear to god, I had to go back and look at that picture of me. I didn't recognize myself at first.

The harmonies are tighter, clearer and crisper on IN MY ROOM in the Frisco recording than on the Houston one ... I sure hope they keep this on the set list ... Duck bump time, times 3.

And the segue into TIJNMG brings me to my knees.

It's in the preliminary copy that I saw. You look great (in a strictly non-gay sort of way)
