10. Please share any other comments or suggestions. Ditch the DJ. I don't think that the language had to be like it was over the P.A. for us to have a great time. I thought he was on an ego trip and not there to share the fun. Again I don't mean to offend anyone but that is what I think.
Not sure what you are talking about here and if you are around long enough maybe you will see that ABQ is a great member, always does an awesome job at these things and is all about "sharing the fun" who, btw, donates his time-16 hrs in the heat- for us. If there were a few cuss words so be it since primarly this is an adult party. I appreciate your opinion regardless of how unfounded and misguided it is.
Phritz I think you missed a square bracket somewhere back there..

But I agree, it was an adult party, and ABQ did a great job both Dallas shows ('06 and '07)

I still have some video of such curse words by ABQ... and it is SO APPROPRIATE!  ... Post that later!
I see. Because it is my opinion it is unfounded and misguided. I was asked for an opinion to make the party even better and I gave it. I realize it was an adult party. If that type of language is needed for you to have a good time - go for it. I don't need it.
Buffett tailgate parties are, in my opinion, adult parties. Those who have been before and choose to bring children know what it's like. I thought the DJ did an awesome job and it was a long day. If I still had small chilcren to take, I'd much rather them hear a few cuss words than for them to see all the women flashing. Just another opinion.

I think it is fine to express an opinion. But if you had something negative to say about a specific person, you should have just pm'd Bill and let him address it with you. He is cool and could have handled this in a tactful manner.

Our DJ rocked! And when the little kids were around him he did tame it down. He was very cool with the little kids and even dug watching them hula hooping better than all of the drunk women that went tumbling down the hill.

And he was very sweet with that little boy who was in remission. The guy choked up when he was talking with him and that has nothing to do with an ego trip.

For us it was a win win situation. I loved the music & dj. He was very cool and was one of the first people to even talk to us.

And Jay loved all the flashing boobs.

We are definately in for next time with coconut boobs & pasties flying.

Just let us help more.

I was walking through the lobby of the building and saw one of the rockefeller Center security guards who I've gotten to know over the almost 11 years I've been working here. She asked me if I had been on vacation since I had a nice tan. When I told her I was in Texas over the weekend she said "Jimmy Buffett?"

Not to beat a dead horse...but Tyler is the kindest sweetest person someone could ever meet. He spent ALOT of time with Duncan, Wes the pirate's son, on Friday night and Saturday and the kid adored him. He would never intentionally do anything to be a bad role model for a child.....I think kids hear worse curse words on TV and the movies (and around me when I have been drinking alot). Also MANY Buffett songs have a few cuss words in them too.....
There's this one particular harbor.....

I'm upset that I missed all these flashing boobies that you all are talking about. Where the hell was I? And if anybody has photos, feel free to forward them to me.

Being new to this site, I doubt that Superdot was aware of ABQ's close ties to this group when he (she?) made her post. Mr. Play asked for opinions, and Superdot gave his. Different strokes for different folks.

That said, I thought that ABQ did a tremendous job and was largely responsible for how much damned (oops...sorry Superdot), darned fun the Frisco Frenzy was. It definately wouldn't be the same without him.

Hey yall! I finally got around to catching up here with all the posts and wanted to say hi to everyone. Hope yall liked my Everclear Jello shots! I heard people were talking about them.

I thought everything went REAL well and everyone did an awesome job, ESPECIALLY our DJ!! (Can't believe what I was reading in that regard). We stayed right till the end and thought he did one hell of a job!

It was great meeting yall even though we didnt meet half the people we were planning on seeing. We were all kind of spread out so it was hard to find everyone we wanted to see.

Is there a post of the group picture?

1. How would you rate your party experience on a scale of 1 to 10? (1 being poor and 10 being outstanding) 11!

2. What did you think about the location? Awesome! Couldnt have been better.

3. Did you have trouble finding it? Nope

4. Do you feel like you were asked to contribute more than your fair share? Nope

5. Did you get enough to eat and drink? Hell yeah!

6. Did we have enough porta potties? Yes

7. Do you think there were too many people? No

8. Did you think of anything we needed that wasn't there? no

9. What would you have done differently to make it better? More speakers for the DJ. There was only one set and they were pointed at only one lot. Those of us in the other lot found it very hard to hear what was going on.

10. Please share any other comments or suggestions. Other than that, AWESOME PARTY!

There's several.

Not sure I can point you to where the best group shots are, but have you visited the Frisco Picture Thread yet?

I already have an idea how we can raise even more money for charity next year. Since so many of the lovely ladies in the parking lot seemed willing to lift their tops, we should make it flashing for dollars. Think of the potential. They don't even have to be part of our group, anyone who walks by can stop and flash as long as someone drops $1 in the bucket. And in this age of digital photography and instant gratification, charge extra if anyone wants their picture taken with the boobies.

I think this is an EXCELLENT idea ... and I think CRC and Shannon should be in charge of talent, with you having final say on who flashes and who doesn't. :pirate:

We'll send them out into ALL the parking lots ... WE'LL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY FOR BOOBIES ... :D

It'll cost you a dollar a shot, which is infinitely less expensive than a dollar a boobie.
