1. How would you rate your party experience on a scale of 1 to 10? (1 being poor and 10 being outstanding) 10 +++
2. What did you think about the location? I didn't really like having to pack up and move after setting the RV up on Friday night. We got there early, but couldn't really set up all of our stuff until we were allowed in on Saturday. We had lots of friends in the other lots, it was somewhat inconvenient trying to see them, check out the other lots and meet BN-ers. But we still had a great time!
3. Did you have trouble finding it? Nope, had navigation in the mega cab.
4. Do you feel like you were asked to contribute more than your fair share? No, as a matter of fact most of the alcohol we brought ended up being given away at the end of the night. I think next year we should focus more on something else to bring.
5. Did you get enough to eat and drink? Are you kidding? Well... I guess we could have eaten more of those delicious tamales... but didn't want to take them ALL... They were soooo good! All of the food was good!
6. Did we have enough porta potties? We used our RV mostly, but we did use the porta potties once.
7. Do you think there were too many people? To meet? yes. I wish I'd had more time (and less alcohol) to meet everyone!
8. Did you think of anything we needed that wasn't there? not really
9. What would you have done differently to make it better? Told everyone to be there Friday night and that they couldn't leave until Monday....
10. Please share any other comments or suggestions. I loved being a part of the Frisco Feeding Frenzy! What a memory (and lack of some memories...if it weren't for photos I'd never believe what they SAID I did). Thanks to everyone! Next year I'm taking a turn on the Leaky Tiki!

I'm weighing in late on this, however I need to make a comment. I wish that "superdt5" could have been with us on Friday night. He would have seen how ABQ looked out for and ENTERTAINED my 8 year old son, Duncan. Any of his off the cuff remarks on Saturday would not have even been noticed. Duncan and I are both HUGE Tyler fans and will look forward to welcoming him back next year and for many years to come. I don't know "superdot5 " so I can't say anything negative about them. I think we all can appreciate opinons on here, but lets be care not to attack one of our own that so clearly gives his all to the cause.PHritz 01 wrote:I agree with you. The poster also has confused an opinion with an attack. I respect his opinion on some language but his other comments were unfounded and misguided regarding ABQ. If he is around long enough maybehe will see that. I would also suggest that if he thinks he can do a better job and not get caught up in a moment (where the curse words were used) and is willing to donate the thousands of dollars for the equipment and 16 hours of his time (plus all the planning hours before the TG) he should vol. next time and we can put it to a vote. Some posters cant understand that there is a fine line between an opinion (his dislike for the curse words) and an attack (his other statements about ABQ) on a loyal BNersharkdog wrote:I agree that ABQ does a great job and would like to see him back. I respect the comments of the 1st poster, but being a former dj myself I realize that at live shows things sometimes come out that cannot be taken back, so unless we hire a minister to do it there are bound to be some slips.superdot5 wrote:I see. Because it is my opinion it is unfounded and misguided. I was asked for an opinion to make the party even better and I gave it. I realize it was an adult party. I don't need it.gingerbreadman wrote:Phritz I think you missed a square bracket somewhere back there..PHritz 01 wrote:Not sure what you are talking about here and if you are around long enough maybe you will see that ABQ is a great member, always does an awesome job at these things and is all about "sharing the fun" who, btw, donates his time-16 hrs in the heat- for us. If there were a few cuss words so be it since primarly this is an adult party. I appreciate your opinion regardless of how unfounded and misguided it is.superdot5 wrote:
10. Please share any other comments or suggestions. Ditch the DJ. I don't think that the language had to be like it was over the P.A. for us to have a great time. I thought he was on an ego trip and not there to share the fun. Again I don't mean to offend anyone but that is what I think.
But I agree, it was an adult party, and ABQ did a great job both Dallas shows ('06 and '07)
I still have some video of such curse words by ABQ... and it is SO APPROPRIATE!![]()
... Post that later!

And for the AFTER show Bit in the pavilion. It needed to be said. We needed to pick up after ourselves and not trash the place like other venues has been done in the past.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in side-ways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming: WOW....What a ride!!!"
