CBS is going to do a feature on Big Ray and Asleep at the Wheel on SUNDAY MORNING ....

Woo hoooo!
Not only that but they were filming during last Friday's concert here in Denver with the Symphony. Apparently they are playing with symphonies in CO and CA.

Got a call today ... the "big" check is ready.

I'll drop it off to Mr. Play on Tuesday when I go to the city for the musical and he can get it to Janelle Hail.

My job here is done.

I am free next week end, you? But I guess there are those pesky details like JB showing up and some Texas Tail Gate Party Planning.

After 5 trips to Texas in the last 12 months - REALLY liking Texas. (I wanna come home to the armadillo.....)

AND both the Houston and Dallas tailgates were awesome!!! Texas definately has the friendliest people you've ever you ever seen. :D

Perhaps ACL in Sept?

Well just to ease all of your minds my ankle seems ok. It did swell but after i got off of it and go some res it was sore for a few days but is ok now.

Yeah i stepped off the curb right at the storm drain, it went over far enough it took the skin off the outside of the bone. but I am fine. Thanks for all the concern. great to meet (not meat) all of you in Houston and Dallas. Danny and Lori you are the best. Rusty and Sue you also. We need to do maybe a fall Phlocking in Texas, if that happens we will surely be there.

Phin power to Nolestaylor, even though he says he's better. Never hurts.

Glad you are feeling better.

It's been a busy week, but I should have time to clean up the hot tub and unload the trailer tomorrow. I'll post a list of the things I find that aren't mine.

Yeah I had a busy week too.

But I have the show tracked, and 25 of the requested 30 CD's burned. Should be able to get it out tomorrow, as long as the 24 hour machine is working. Otherwise it's out on Monday.

After that, I can work on more fun things, like incriminating videos!

It took all day, but the hot tub is like new again and Mrs. Play can park in the garage for the first time in a month.
Surprisingly, I think everything I took made it home with me. Here's a list of stuff I found packed on the trailer that isn't mine. If you see anything that's yours and you want it back, send me a PM.

Miniature Playmate Cooler - fins2theleft
Water Hose with Nozzle - 1phortheroad
60 Gallon Trash Bags - nolestaylor
30 Gallon Trash Bags - East Texas Parrothead
Inflatable Kiddie Pool - Garnet Bimbo
Pewter Bowl with candy from giveaways - Garnet Bimbo
4 lawn chairs - ~Hippolyte~
2 Pump Systems for gallon containers - D Pharmboy
5 Rolls of Paper Towels - D Pharmboy
500+ Napkins - pojo
24 disposable aluminum trays - vickster
600 Plastic Spoons - jedivet
600 Plastic Forks - jedivet
16-Quart Igloo Cooler, white with red lid - ???
3 Metal Stands that were at the food shelter - ???
Bucket of Blowpops - ???
Pair of Fake Oakleys - ???
Pliers with Blue Handle - ???
Phillips Head Screwdriver with Black Handle - ???
Bud Light Koozie - ???
Kansas City Parrothead Club Koozie - ???
Fiji Island Oklahoma 2007 Koozie - ???

I also have these food items left over. There's no way we're going to use all the buns and ketchup anytime soon, so I'll take them to a food donation center tomorrow.
6 jars of ketchup
1 jar of relish
2 jars of spicy mustard
Big box of tortilla chips
2 jars of queso
7 big packages of hot dog buns
3 big packages of hamburger buns

You can give the utensils to the food pantry, too. They could probably use them! No reason to ship them way up here, even I was in desparate need of plastic forks and spoons! :D

it would probably cost us more to ship them to me than it would to buy new ones here in town. I apologize for just dumping them on you, but I knew they wouldn't fit in my luggage. Maybe I should have stopped at the Kroger and returned them, since I didn't use any of them.

Keep them or donate them, it's up to you. You might even be able to exchange them for groceries at Kroger. I might have the receipt, though I bet it's in the rental car.

thanks for a great time!!
