I'm thinking of starting another thread for this show. I mean, it's 3 hours since it was announced and we only have 4 or 5 threads about it.

I'm on the way to Frisco now.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Ticket prices: $44.50 - US $126.00

Agree with Bill on what he said about traffic, as per what I posted earlier, but those of us who come early may avoid the major problems, and the locals who have been to shows there before are aware of them.

does anyone understand if there's an actual "lawn" at Pizza hut park. I've seen concerts here that have the soccer field set up as a giant free-for-all or what.

Im guessing these would be the $44 seats, but then again, those are arguably the best seats in the house.

Thanks for welcoming me on board pharm girl.

Unfortunately access and construction haven't improved much. The tollroad still ends 4 miles south and you drive through the construction from there. This place is still not ready for a crowd this size. No hotels come up in my GPS within 3 miles. There are a couple of parking options and I'll post a few pics when I get back to work.

The stadium shows I've been to, except Springsteen, always had reserved seating on the field and those were the most expensive seats, like floor seats at an arena show. The cheap seats are the upper deck on the opposite end of the field from the stage.

There are a few hotels near the ballpark where the rough riders play either on Warren or on Gaylord

When we saw the Rolling Stones in Wichita, KS which was a small stadium (about this size) the least expensive seats were at the back of the "floor".

I sat in some "box" seats for Chesney...they weren't our assigned seats or I'd look at the tix, but they were around Sec 101 (which looks to be "beside" the stage) and they were AWEsome.
(Since it was July and it was HOT...they had afternoon performers for that show).
