We have to write something each Tuesday night for the paper. Here are my comments. For real.

The good news this week is: Everyone stepped up. They left the preening and strutting aside and sang their hearts out. The bad news this week is: Phil's eyebrows have taken on a life of their own.

The most important thing to remember about this week: She's only 17 years old.

Our 10 year old daughter kept telling us,"she's only 17!" That became our quote of the night! She is amazing, for sure!

Chris: I'm sorry, but no for me. Too "off key" and nasaly.. the judges liked?? :-? And fix your tie!

Melinda: A beautiful voice again. And not so "deer in the headlights" look. ;)

Blake: His facial expressions bug me, but I did like his singing. :)

Lakisha: Just an amazing voice. I can see her doing more gospel music than pop music. :)

Phil: Nice surprise at his tone, strength, and emotion. :D

Jordin: WOW 8)

I actually bothered to vote several times what with the whole charity thing and all. I'm not terribly enamored with anyone in particular. I think all of the remaining singers will do well if they pick the right genre. Since "Miss Deer in the Head Lights" is a local Nashville area chick, she got my votes. Jordin is going to be amazing if she is this awesome at seventeen.

Dialidol.com has Jordin receiving the most votes and safe. The rest of their results were all a bit close. I'm thinking it may be Chris that leaves us tonight. I'll miss the show cuz. . . .

I'll be singing loud and off key with JB in Hotlanta.

I loved Jordin and Melinda last night. Everyone did fairly well, but I think Jordin has now become my fave. I have liked her since auditions, but always was torn b/t her, Melinda and Lakeisha. While they all three have great voices, I think Jordin has more of the "American Idol" kind of thing going--maybe it's her youth. But she's won me over. I think Chris is the next one that needs to go.

Yeah, I think it is time for Chris to go also. My guess for the bottom 3 will be Chris, Blake (even though I like him better than Phil) and LaKisha.

The song choice for Phil and Jordin's amazing performance, along with them being the last 2 to sing, should keep them safe.

That was the cruelest thing I've ever seen ... :x :x :x :x

Mean.
Evil.
Cruel.
A$$holes.

After this season (I have to watch for work), I will never watch AI again .... I'm so over them.

Bastards.
Creeps.
Panderers.
Money hos.

There aren't enough bad words in my 55 year old brain to say what I think of what they just did.

And, to the baby.

Rat Bastards.

The Celine Dion / Elvis gig was interesting. Does anybody know how they did that?
