Tinley tickets - how did you do?

Post by spartan1979 »

I had my tickets by 10:05 and the best I could do was 4 tickets on the far right (sec 201) in the uncovered pavillion area. At least they were only $86 (plus another $15 in fees).

Scored six lawn tickets at around 10:02. Unlike last year, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the online Ticketmaster system - seemed to work smoothly, and the price was quite reasonable at $36. Just hoping he makes it to Indianapolis as well!

Scored 4 in section 203 row UU; for 126 a ticket

Thought it was a bit pricey but at least will have tickets in hand!

Passed up 4 bad pavillion seats so I could get the needed 6 tickets on the lawn. At least all 6 of us can go.

We've got two pair (no, this is not poker). Both sets are pavillion; one set dead center but pretty far back; the other way on the left, but much closer in.

6 lawn with another 2 from a friend...
Got what I needed... by 10:04am.

Got a little nervous when the waiting time escalated to 5 minutes from the 2 minutes... then it quickly went down. My friend went to an actual outlet and got the 2 last tickets they had (they were already printed up)

Cha-ching!! Scored nine for the lawn! Was online and hit 'refresh' at what must have been exactly the right second...got my first 5 (thought I hit 6 but no time to correct it!) went right thru, no wait. Meantime, I was on the cell phone to Ticketbastard in Indianapolis...got right thru for 2 more. (That's all I really needed...) But, thought what the hell- went back thru online & got 2 more. A little bobbing & weaving in & out- but well worth it!!! Completed all transactions by like, 10:06! Damn, I sure like getting what I want! :D

Decent... yes, you are reading it correctly...
Starts at MM, and goes into the triple letters...

I would say the very back 10-12 rows (maybe less) around the entire pavillion.

Thanks, looks like we'll be dry. Externally, at least.

Got 4 lawn seats by 10:08 ~ 2 for me and 2 for my parentals. Ticketmaster online didn't have any problems. Thank God that I have a boss who lets us surf the web at work. Last year I was in the pavilion. So I guess this year I'll get to see what it's like back there on the lawn.

In my opinion, the lawn is better anyway! I wouldn't sit anywhere else! More room to dance.....Tinley is my backyard, I live about 5 minutes from there. If the hotels in Tinley are booked already (Fairmont, Sleep, Comfort) try the Super 8 in Mokena. It's only about 5 minutes away also!

tinely tickets

Post by tsquared41 »

I got 6 lawn tickets at 10:00 on ticketmaster and at 10:30 got 4 second pavillion tickets in 207 on live nation. Live nation was much quicker and seemed to have more available.
