I know at Riverbend in Cincy you can pay a couple of thousand $$ and get tickets for all or most of the shows. A lot of corps do this for their employees. They used to offer a series package that I used to have. It included JB and 3 other acts. Had the same seats every year for about 4 years. Then they did away with it for this yearly subscription. Now there are only a couple of thousand seats that are even for sale in th Pavilion. I suspect many other venues do something similar.
Jones Beach does this too
Greatwoods does it...as does The Meadows in Hartford.........Most venues i would also guess do this.......all take into consideration sponsor tickets that are out there and in case like venues like Mohegan Sun also hold back tickets for comps for there high rollers!!
side note a guy on one of the Gillette show has 24 tickets for sale.....now that seems like a few to many extras!!
Not something I would normally do, but last year I was so desperate to go to Detroit I bought on Ebay for 2 and a half face. It worked out great and I do not regret doing it. I do however think there has to be a better way. I know I could have waited and bought on BN and saved a lot but I was "green" then and my emotions took over at the point of being shut out. Yes, I admit it, I cried when I was shut out.
Do what you gotta do phriend....hope we see you there!
