Hi everybody!

I'm new here (to BN, not to earth). I've been reading the posts for some time now - isn't that called lurking? Anyway, I'm SOOO excited about tomorrow! Driving down from Cuyahoga Falls (Akron area) & hope to get there around 3 or 4. Will we have trouble finding a place to park at that time? I've never been to Riverbend, so unfamiliar with the lots and so forth. I've seen Jimmy at Buckeye Lake & Jacob's field, but I must say that I am more excited about Cincy than I was about either of those. All the people here on BN seem so nice - I hope to meet some of ya'll. Right now I'm jealous because I know all of you are at CIP having a great time. Oh well, I guess I'll get over it.....

Have fun!!!!!

Welcome.....At that point in arrival it's probably better to park in the Riverbend/Coney Island lot. It's free (or included in your ticket price anyway) and you can walk across the street to where the main tailgating is. The tailgating inside the main lot is very limited and not nearly as fun as the spots across the street. Those lots should be completely filled by 5 o'clock so you probably won't have much choice anyway. Just got back from CIP and people are going to start getting across the street at 8 or 9 am and in the past, noon pretty much is sold out.

All i'm saying is that.... I am alll sorts of banged up after Chicago and Indy yesterday.... (my group & I were doing jaegger bombs all day.. coupled with jungle juice. People at the campground actually commented that they were surprised to see we made it out of the concert alive...)

And I've still got 2 concerts to go. I haven't had any alcohol today since around 1 AM. Took it easy today. And I'm staying in tonight so that I can party like a rock start manana. I think half of our group is hitting the lot at 9 and the other half will get there at 10.

For all you who went to CIP... I'm like right next door, but a girl's gotta rest!

you doubt my skills????

"i've passed out and I rallied and I sprung a few leaks" but I'll be in fabulous form by Alpine! (And Alpine we're not starting till noon, not the 9 AM start at Indy and Cincy today... and the night before Indy we went to see Mac and I had to taste test the jungle juice to make sure it was ok... 5 cups of it... then like 5 beers at Mac.... I was smashed!)

Hey party people -

Thanks for the welcome & for the reply! We'll be looking for everyone when we get there. Gettin' really excited!

Harbourgirl - I just have to say that in about 10 or 15 years you'll wonder how on earth you were able to party like you do now!!!! I know sometimes I look back and I'm amazed that I'm not dead. I guess it's all in the practice - and I gotta say that I'm way outta practice. Soooo, if anyone sees the stumblin', loud obnoxious person (oh, wait, won't that be the majority of us.....). Well, anyway........I hope to see lots of ya'll there & I hope I remember Friday!!!

Have a great time!!!!!

Awwww shucks.... it was nuthin. I think when Mike sees the difference between the way the lot looked this year as compared to previous years, he'll be more apt to go for your plan.
