I'm sure she could use light beer but I think an Amber or a Stout gives the cookies better flavor.

Don't these cookie discussions lead into Oreos?

Got my tickets same day....from the PC. I never bought tix online before & must have checked the box to get them online. Was kind of nice since my friend tossed the tix in the trash last year & her hubby noticed them. She thought it was junk mail. Neighbor had tix go to another neighbors house so this was nice. Holiday Inn 8256 University Blvd, Coraopolis (airport) has party 22nd given by Pgh Parrothead Fan club & Sat. a shuttle bus for about $15 to & from concert. I was told shuttle leaves hotel 1:30/2:00...enough time to enjoy tailgating before concert. See ya there.

Looking forward to meeting you, as well. I was a long-time lurker as well and just joined last July. You'll be surprised how fast you meet great people around this joint!

Last year was our first at Star Lake - it's a great venue. See you there!
I've done some limited posting, but not enough to really get to know anyone, at least on line. Most of my posting is either evenings or weekends, as I work full time and can't post at work.
It's tough online - I have a crazy job and don't have the time I'd like to put in either, but believe me, once you meet some of these pholks in person, they're family! (and I mean that in the very best sense of the word)

Still looking for a place to stay. The Holiday Inn (formerly the Country Inn & Suites) is having some kind of pre-party, but this year there will be no shuttle. I read here that some weren't sure if there was a shuttle and some said there definitely wasn't. I called and confirmed today that there is no shuttle (I'll NEED a shuttle...like most!). The search continues. Many hotels in the area seem to have no availability, like the Holiday Inn in Coraopolis.

I'm in the same boat. anyone have any good hotel suggestions?? a shuttle would be perfect....that way we wouldn't be playing rock, paper, scissors, to see who drives..

Still room at the Super 8 in Steubenville, OH. We'll be there trying to keep a bunch of Canukians in line. :D
