I read here that some weren't sure if there was a shuttle and some said there definitely wasn't. I called and confirmed today that there is no shuttle (I'll NEED a shuttle...like most!). The search continues. Many hotels in the area seem to have no availability, like the Holiday Inn in Coraopolis.
Still room at the Super 8 in Steubenville, OH. We'll be there trying to keep a bunch of Canukians in line. :D
We'll get you all p*** up on margaritas and you'll be a pushover. Canuckians will run wild in Steubenville!!!

Was kind of nice since my friend tossed the tix in the trash last year & her hubby noticed them. She thought it was junk mail. Neighbor had tix go to another neighbors house so this was nice. Holiday Inn 8256 University Blvd, Coraopolis (airport) has party 22nd given by Pgh Parrothead Fan club & Sat. a shuttle bus for about $15 to & from concert. I was told shuttle leaves hotel 1:30/2:00...enough time to enjoy tailgating before concert. See ya there.
I've read this thread 100 times and somehow missed this little bit of information....sorry. Anyway, I've contacted them to find out if there's anything available. Super 8 in Steubenville is looking good, though....

He's partied with me before. He speaks with great experience as to how out of control us Canuckians can get.

Got your tix yet?

Yep. Closest hotels the other direction is about the same distance.

I went to Pittsburgh last year and the traffic coming from Pittsburgh was awful. Approaching from the other direct may help as far as getting in and out goes. We are staying in a good spot I think.

When are you heading down?

Flip flops and shorts for sure, but it has been raining for 5 days. No sunshine here.

I hope to leave work by 1 and head out then. Looking at the map I am not sure which route we will take. More reasearch is needed.
Bet you will be glad to be home and see a special someone????

I will indeed be glad to be home.

And if you need help with the route, perhaps I can help. I know where the good shopping is if that helps.

Your in a tough spot too. Having to drive around Lake Erie and all. Don't know which way you should go.

Well, there's a great outlet mall just south of Interstate 80 on Interstate 79. Stopped there last year and did some great shopping.

Friday afternoon sometime. Depends on work and such. Hopefully leave around noon or so. Then catch up with the gang in Steubenville, eat and have a few cocktails.

We'll save the shopping for the ride home. Its a welcome break during the drive. Helps the hangovers too.

I believe that is called the Grove City Mall. They even have
a little Heinz Outlet with off-the-wall products like pickle pins. :pirate:
