K all... Now that these dates are all confirmed, just wondering if anyone else will be making a roadtrip out of any or all of these dates. I'm roadtripping out there all the way from Connecticut. Just wondering if anyone else is crazy and gonna do any or all of this. This way maybe we can have a mini-caravan for portions of the drives (and try to help keep each other entertained and awake!)

I'm soo excited!

That's awesome!!!

I figure, I might as well do this "Buffett roadtrip" once in my life and who knows when I'll get the chance again!

Count me in! I've been wanting him to bunch things up like this in years past and finally get that wish. Camping out for the Chicago and Alpine shows as we do every year and then staying with friends who live by the Cincy and Indy locations.
I have been following the other threads, but for Alpine on that Friday what other locations besides the big get together in Janesville usually take place? I've never been able to do that and this year allows that, even if my liver may not by Friday, doh't!
Also, I'll have room for 2-4 people when driving depending on how things shake out as far as my friends attending. Just something to consider for anybody who despises driving and/or might be driving alone. I have yet to decide whether I'm flying back to the Midwest or driving, probably the former. I'm coming in from DC but renting a vehicle for the week regardless of what I decide...4 tailgates and 4 mass exits, no way I'm borrowing a friend's/parent's vehicle or using my own. :o
So far so good on tix, hopefully the luck will continue for the Cincy and Indy on sale dates. Looking forward to Buffett Week this year, maybe at one show I'll actually get around to finding the BuffettNews group. The intentions are always there, but for some reason I always get easily distracted...not sure why that is?!

I'm kinda-sorta roadtripping. My parental units are coming from the Cleveland-area to Detroit-area, then we're all headed to Tinley together and plan to make a long (3-4 day weekend) of it. Good thing the husband gets along with the in-laws, and god bless seperate motel rooms

I'm not too concerned about tickets... I did my research the other night when i was in class. Researching this was far more entertaining than listening to my professor teach trusts & estates.

I can't wait!

don't know alot about trusts and estates. I know I own something and that I have a dog and a boat that will be lonely on my roadtrip. and, quite honestly, that is all I really want to know right now. Buffett and Baseball. Why not?

That's gonna be the worst part of this whole thing... Driving hungover the day after the concert. In the past few years, I've been good with pacing myself so that I don't feel the effects after the concert. Hopefully I can keep that trned going this year!

Mrs. maufro is committed. (or is that be committed) YEAH!

Not a very hard sell after the great times we had in Hotlanta & at GreatWoods last summer. Especially Beantown. WOW, what great people & city. Would do that again in a snap, 1st stop ... The Black Rose (and probably the last).

We'll be staying in Chicago until Monday, then to Indie. Do dread the day after drive between there & Cinci; HG are you sure you're ready (06)?

This is going to be GREAT!!!

Hahaha.. I was born ready for this!!! I'm planning on staying in Chicago area until Monday as well and then heading to Indy. seems like the more logical thing to do. I'll probably take a train into the City for the day and do some shopping on Michigan Ave, go to Navy Pier. All the touristy stuff I haven't done in years!

Plans are forming! Yeah!

by Wino you know
I have tickets for the Alpine and Chicago concerts.
I may have to give up my one for Chicago, however, due to a "logistical lack."
