Daylight Savings Time

Post by aeroparrot »

Hello all, just a reminder for those of us that use Daylight's Savings Time, this year it has changed and is next week. For us who use Window's XP or older on our computers, we MUST get a patch from Microsoft.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

A correction to my original post..... if you have an automatic updates on your computer, you probably won't have to do the patch.

But won't the extra hour of sunlight burn the grass?

Believe it or not, when they were introducing DST here in Alberta back in the late '60's, this was one of the questions that people were asking!
'Cause I want to be there, I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there ...

I'm sure it contributes to global warming but I like it anyway.

I wish we would stay on DST all year. Personally, I don't care if it's daylight at 5:30 a.m. However, I do like to see daylight at 5:30 p.m. 8)

Yeah, but where you live it would finally get light at 9:00 am mid-winter if we were on daylight time year round!!!!!

I'm beginning to think the problem is not Daylight Savings Time or not.
The problem is where I live. :o

Then there were the farmers who were worried about how it would mess up the cows and their milking schedule?!?!
