Did anyone else strike out this morning???
Wow. Just found out from my source that was going to buy our Cincy tickets that they struck out. They had two computers going with 6 browsers open trying to get through - with no luck. I don't feel so bad about it myself, because I really hate riverbend, but this was going to be my daughters first Buffett show. I hate it for her. Anyone have a guess what the brokers will be asking for lawn seats?
How did everyone else do? Hope you had better luck than we did...

I'm in Australia and stayed up until well after 2 AM local time trying to get tickets to Cincy. Struck out for the third year in a row. Unless some more tickets are released, I'll have to give in to the sonofabitchin' brokers again.Pirate Lookin' at 40 wrote:Wow. Last year lawn seats were going for a mimimum of $70 from 'reliable' brokers, and reserved seating was closer to $200 for rear seats. Horrible.
These moments we're left with, may we always remember, these moments are shared by few...

Shutout here too
I had 2 PCs going, with 2 browsers each. On one browser, the time started around 2 minutes, then climbed to more than 15 minutes. All of my browsers at one time or another said more than 15 minutes. I got completely shutout this year for the first time in many many years.

Not having time to check for constant updates, I set my watch to 11:00 AM for Ticketmasterbators today and when logged on @ 10:45 AM I was S.O.L.!! I am major PO'd! I guess I will pay the broker price, again, and sit way up front. What the hell, its only money...

the usual suspects (Ticketsnow.com, stubhub.com, etc.) will have lawn seats for Riverbend anywhere from $75 - $100+ each. Never understood the bozos that try to sell lawn tickets for some absurd amount when there are plenty to be had for much less - I guess it has something to do with the bozos who get fooled into paying it.
as the tv commercial says, "Don't be THAT guy"
Anyway, I'm curious as to why you "hate Riverbend"
I've been to several concerts there and compared to other venues, I think it's a great place. And Buffett at Riverbend is very special

you can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning
