Hmmm-a song I am tired of hearing, and was never really crazy about, vs a Steve Goodman song.

Let's see

voted for This Hotel Room- always thought it was a great song, so it was not just a vote against WDWGDAS- a song I can only listen to at concerts

I voted for This Hotel Room. (Still fun to watch the crowd ENJOY WDWGD at the shows, but it's def a BRB song.)

so did I. I really wish JB would stop playing this bad song at the shows.... its getting old, and with the keets there, its kinda akward

Clips of both of these were on my answering machine at some point during college.

Since then, I've spent FAR too much time in hotel rooms on business, so this one has some special meaning to me.

WDWGDAS still works as a concert song because Jimmy and the crew keep figuring out new ways to play it. If it was played as per the album at every show I would say pull it. But as long as they are creative about it I'll still enjoy it as a member of the crowd.

However my vote for the better song is for magic fingers and a king sized bed.

From Hotel Room:
One of my all-time favorite lines:

"mirror that lies, mirror that lies
that couldn't be me in the gorilla disguise."

for those of you who don't know, Jimmy Buffett did not write This Hotel Room. Angry responses need not apply.
