I agree, only reason I'm going for "OTWT" is because I've actually heard this song more recently
They're both pretty good tunes in their own right...

Not to nitpick, but In The City is a Joe Walsh song. The song Mac wrote that Jimmy does is The City and it got my vote.

The reason that Migration didn't make the bracket is because Buffett hasn't played it live enough. The way the songs were picked was through The BN Song Database's "Songs Played The Most List." "In the City" has been played live 94 times and "Only Time Will Tell" has been played live 64 times, while Migration has been played live only 21 times putting it in a tie for 120th on the list. (FYI, the last two songs in, "That's What Living Is To Me" and "Great Filling Station Holdup," were each played live 40 times.
Now I know the BN Setlist Database is not complete or perfect, but I thought it was the most objective way to choose the top 64 songs. I could have chosen what I thought were his 64 best songs, but who's to say your top 64 songs or my top 64 songs are the definitive top 64 Buffett songs. I think choosing any other way is way too subjective.
And Larry, I wasn't sure whether the "correct" title was "The City" or "In the City," but I went with what the Database said, which was "In the City."

I don't know why The City got to be In The City. But you can blame me because phjim used my data tables to initially build the BN database. Sorry!
But I thought a lot of times they introduced it as In The City. I just went back to a few of my recordings and on these dates Jimmy did intro it as In The City.

Not sure if Mac ever recorded this on his own.
But if you look at the Jimmy recordings, they say The City
Tales from Margaritavision says The City
