Aside from CIP and Margaritaville Cafe's...where does "The Man" like to dine when he is on tour?
I know in Washington, he used to frequent Crisfield's.

I'm guessing if anybody knows and they post it here, Jimmy won't be going there anymore. When he's not on stage he deserves some privacy.

Thank you, both of you.

Agreed.
But to answer the question, I have a feeling one of his assistants makes an order (or several smaller orders) and simply brings it to the hotel, venue, or plane, so that no one tries to bullrush the door to see The Man. It's pretty rare that someone that high profile would go out to eat while thousands of fans know he/she is in town(unless the restaurant's closed for privacy or being after-hours), because it turns into a disaster if they do.

We saw him enjoying lunch at the Fountain restaurant in the Four Seasons in Philly...since he loves Four Seasons hotels, I'm sure that he often frequents their restaurants as well!

I saw him in Duke's 2 years ago. Charleston walked in, then about 10 minutes later I looked over to where he had gone and Jimmy was there having dinner with a few other people. He went out to the patio stage and joined Henry Kapono for one song.

He occasionally eats at Margaritaville in Key West, but not in the restaurant part. Seen him at Virgilio's. And he orders sandwiches from B&B's all the time.

I am guessing he's eaten in every mid-to-upscale restaurant on the Rock at one time or another. You fly in for a week, hit the studio.. you aren't losin' weight without speed, eatin' sunflower seeds..

He's got a George Foreman grill, he can cook on it like nobody's business.

From what (little) I know from working in the hotel biz a few years ago, he want to be VERY private with his accomodations, but usually eats out. He's ordered dinner in only occasionally, but then again, this is in a city of GREAT food.
I agree also on keeping these things private. Of course, there are the places we all know he loves 'cause he sings or talks about them on stage. Otherwise, don't ruin it for him and the people who love cooking for him. The first time he came to one of the restaurants associated w/the hotel where I worked, the chef was on cloud nine for weeks!

Jimmy Buffett does not eat there. After all these years, he frequents the Rope Walk and the Rose and Crown. Box don't serve food. He drinks for free and sometimes plays. If anything he gets pizza accross the street when in a rush.

and, unless you were kidding - trust me, Jimmy does not eat at CIP and Margaritaville. He does pop into to these places. I had a very close friend down in Key West who cooked at the Margaritiville (frozen crap - don't pay for it) and he show for a beer or something.
If you don't believe that then if you know anything about his lovely wife then you would know if she is there on the road - and she is - then they are not going to these tourist traps.
