you know your old pholks when you can name the red headed kid on the left of the pic. i am not really sure, but i think his is name is jody, or at least his character's name was jody. the show i am thinking of also starred sebastian cabot, and maybe brian keith. oy the history of so many years.

:D :) :o :-? 8) :P   :pirate:

"listen to the stories i could tell"

member of the parrothead nation
Johnny Whittaker... but skill is naming the kid on the right..
My fist thoght was this must be one of the H.R. Puff N Stuff characters :o I didn't really like that show near as much as Land of the Lost

It looks like Mark Lindsey.... Its not Jack Wild... but the 2 were together in Oliver!

Or it could be the kid who played COusin Oliver from the Brady Bunch :o

You bought Tiger Beat magazine and had Mark Lindsey posters in your room, DIDN'T YOU?  Guys were consumed with Lauri Partrige, Marsha Brady and the famouse debate between Marry Ann or Ginger. It's funnier than heck listening to guys admit to having the hots for cartoon characters, Betty Rubble over Wilma, the two girls on The Archie's and the hottie on Scooby Doo :P

Like anyone cared...LOL And my teen room was so cool.... big loud lime green, orange and pink flowered spread and curtains.. a yellow Hitachi stero w/ 8 track...AND a bright pink alarm clock radio!!!! I was the envy of the neighborhood!!!! 8)

Made my day already. Read on Yahoo the other day the Osmond's are looking at doing a reunion show. Now THAT would be funny.

The name Lief Garrett or something like that stated bumping around in my mind. Was he a poster child too?

My very first cncert...sans the Pat Boone Christmas Show with mother ....was the Osmonds. I was 13 or 14...and went with a friend and her "cool" mother. LOL A reunion show huh? If it came to town.... I might think about it.... just cause .....

Leif was hot in the later 70s ....1977 or so. I was 17 and the posters were off the walls by then. But I worked in a t-shirt (oops imprinted sportswear) store in my Jr and Sr High school years.... and if I told you I printed 20 Leif shirts a day.... I would be under estimating. I wasnt into him then..... I was a disco queen...of course not forgetting my Buffett roots...!

growing up in Utah Osmond sightings were fairly commonplace.....it was cool "not" to like them when I was growing up.....

I had tons of tiger beat and '16' magazines.....but focused my teenage lust towards David Cassidy.....

He just released a new cd through Target with remixes.....

The Ginger vs Mary Ann thing reminds me, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Atlanta Braves minor league team) is bringing Dawn Wells in for one of the nostalgia nights this season (and before any of you smart a$$es ask, no I don't know what position she plays :P )

Those are all perfect examples of why I won't push my daughter in the child-star direction (although SHE thinks she should get to be a star right now instead of waiting 'til she's a grownup). Silly kids.

Old song flash back! ''Delata Dawn"

Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today
To take you to his mansion in the sky

She's forty-one and her daddy still calls her "baby"
All the folks around Brownsville say she's crazy
'Cause she walks around town with a suitcase in her hand
Looking for a mysterious dark-haired man

In her younger days they called her Delta Dawn
Prettiest woman you ever laid eyes on
Then a man of low degree stood by her side
And promised her he'd take her for his bride

Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today
To take you to his mansion in the sky

OK, Tanya Tucker or Helen Ready :-?

Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels...... "Good Golly Miss Molly!"

2nd one...

Paul Revere and The Raiders...

1960 something? I was in the 8th grade for the first once....

But one of my best memories was seeing Johnny Cash , with the whole Carter/Cash clan...and Mother Maybelle Carter was still alive then.....AWESOME show!

Wasn't Taya about 14 when she recorded that sone :D

Here's a Helen Reddy Dedication to Bravedave, her all time greates hit

I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'Cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again

Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to
I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

You can bend but never break me
'Cause it only serves to make me
More determined to achieve my final goal
And I come back even stronger
Not a novice any longer
'Cause you've deepened the conviction in my soul

Oh, yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to
I can face anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

I am woman watch me grow
See me standing toe to toe
As I spread my lovin' arms across the land
But I'm still an embryo
With a long, long way to go
Until I make my brother understand

Oh, yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to
I can face anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

Oh, I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong

I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong
I am woman
