HOLY S@#T, WHAT A SHOW

First let me say how great it was to see SGH again, even after allowing mapquest to get her turned backwards she has a smile on.

Rick,Nicole & Bill how can you not have a good time with you all.

Now for the show, this was my first time seeing Mac solo but I promise it is not my last. His storytelling is unbelievable that you stay so interested it what he is telling you about when he wrote each song, that you are not like OK just play the song. You actually feel him in every song. And what can you say about his talent playing the guitar,piano/organ,and mandolin he is a true musician through and through.

Oh yeah, I have not mentioned Fingers yet, Greg may be the best harmonica player I have ever heard his bluesy style fit it so well in the show. Fingers looked so good last night and you can just see how much he loved being on the stage and performing with Mac, they both had a great admiration for each other. I really hope we see more of Fingers around he really looks like he fits rights in.

Thanks so Much Mac & Fingers for a wonderful show.
Thanks to the friends that made it even a better night.

p.s. BEG, Wendy and I had some tots and cheese for you :D

I'll bet that was a great show.

I got front row one night at the Paramount in Austin when Mac and Fingers opened for Leo Kottke.

Mac on that babygrand was magical and Mac and Fingers together was about as good a show as any I've been to. And, yep, that is one duo worth traveling to see.

HPH, Dawgfan, SGH and all my other PH friends that were there... WOW. I love seeing Mac. I enjoyed Fingers with Mac and their rendition of A Pirate Looks at 40.. holy s***.. but the gem of the show was the end. Mac played a rendition of the Allman Brothers Little Martha that is normally a two guitar song and he did it alone.. WOW!!

If he comes to your town, DON'T MISS IT!

I was just listening to Mac from MotM 2004 Key West CDs and he did Little Martha. Thanks for pointing that out about the two guitar parts...
