So I accidentally bought an extra ticket for the Greensboro show and I want to unload it. Trouble is I dont know how much to get for it. Far be it from me to deny any Parrotheads out there who are in need of a ticket, but I also dont want to rip anyone off. So, can you guys help me out? How much is acceptable to be asking? The ticket info is Section 217, Row K. You guys let me know. Thanks!! DAVE

Why not sell it for what you paid? Everyone
wins! -^^-

I agree with brneyedgrl. Simply sell it for what you paid. It is the only fair solution unless you want to make some money by taking advantage of a fellow parrothead. You don't want to do that, do you????

Hi Dave - It's your ticket to do what you want with. I'm not sure about the laws in your state, but if you just sell it at cost to someone that needs it, I'm sure everyone will be happy. However, if you do sell it for more than face value, don't mention it here, unless you want to get attacked."THEY" don't like ticket scalpers here!

Mr. Scott - wouldn't it have been nicer to say "we" don't like ticket scalpers here? There is no "they" here.

Hello Buffy - No, "they" applied a little better, because I don't believe in closing a legit buisness by declaring it illegal. If you take away someone's job, that sounds unamerican to me! That's what they did to the net fisherman here in FL. That sucks! Ticket & travel agents are needed not by all, but by some. Sorry about the exclusion, but down here in FL, we are NOT into makebelieve. Live and let live. One Love.

omehow or another I always wind up with one or two extra tickets on the day of the show. I've always sold them at face + ticketb@st@rd service charge, since that is what I paid. But be aware!!! It isn't always easy to spot the difference between a ticketless true phan and a scalper who will just take your ticket and then turn around and sell it to someone else for double or triple.

Hey,
If you don't like scalpers why would you want to become one. If you want to sell them to a true parrothead that would appreciate them at face value+ ticketmaster chgs, try selling them on cobo.org or Parrotrepublic.com. You can buy tix there too.

I have my name in this site's ticket swap and cobo's. Would you believe someone was kind enough to offer me LAWN tickets for 60$ per? Thanks, but no thanks! Last year, we sold about 4 extras in the lot for face + service charge- you would not believe how happy they were to see someone who would be that nice. I wouldn't even think of going any higher. I think about it this way, if I were the one who was short a few tickets, would I want someone to charge me twice the amount they paid for them? No, so why do it to someone else?

Sale for face value. It is the right thing to do and I promises that who ever you sale it to will buy you a drink. I could see somebody like Mr. Scott being an ••• and sale the ticket for much more than what it is worth but that is not the way Parottheads treat each other. Just make sure you do not sale it to somebody like Mr. Scott who will turn around and Sale it for some unbelievable price.

Phins Up all ~~^~~

See you at Alpine

I second the motion. Mr. Key West, if we ever meet up at a Buffett show, drinks are on me.

Face Value plus ticketmaster charges seem to be the only fair way to go. I just bought Backstreet Boys tickets for my daughter. The ticket price was $38.50. After they added the service charges each ticket cost $50.00. If I needed to sell any tickets I wouldn't ask any more than what I paid.
If I ever got too many Buffett tickets, (that's a fantasy), I would only want to break even.
