Parrothead Crayons

Post by calypsogirl »

Pbans has given me an idea for a post.

Let's say there is a big box of crayons being developed specifically for Buffett News members, parrotheads and Jimmy Buffett phans...Let's see what crayon names we could come up with that has a tropical/parrothead/Jimmy Buffett flavor to it!

I will go first.

Margarita Blue-It's a lime green color that has a hint of blue shading as you color with it.

If they weren't Crayola-brand then I'd think they sukked no matter if they had tropical names or not.

Crayola crayons are the best, and any schoolkid gets beat up for having anything different.

You can name it anything you like....

but I would very much like to have a crayon that accurately recreates that impossible glowing shade of aqua that appears in the ocean shallows near a tropical beach.....

::sigh:: just a litttle tropical dreamin

People would have to pay some kind of premium price for that color but it would be worth it. Imagine you're having a bad day, bring out that crayon and color with it...all of a sudden you are transported to that shore 8)

Sail on Sunrise
and
Sail on Sunset

The base color is that deep blue color that appears just before sunrise or sunset (twilight and dusk). The Sunrise crayon would have a hint of yellow and pink to it, and The Sunset one would have tinges of gold, orange, and red.
