I was listening to False Echos on Banana Wind and I do believe that the song is the most beautiful song that JB has done.
What do you think?

I'd never heard it until last year, but it's become one of my favorites. It's so heartfelt and beautiful. James Taylor is the perfect background for the song. It's definitely one of my favorite ballads Jimmy's done. I think if his voice was as smooth on 'False Echoes' as it is on 'Trip Around the Sun' it would be the perfect JB ballad.

The song makes me think about my relationship with my son. Hell he is only four and i have so many way to screw him up, but I hope that I will get something right.

I always thought that this song was beautiful from the first time i heard it, add in that my father also passed in 1995, and it makes it that much more poignant for me.

Whenever it comes on RM (like a little while ago) I always try to stop whatever I'm doing and just let it wash over me for that few minutes that it plays. Hmmmm....happy sigh.

I scanned this photo around Father's Day.
I think it was in a Southern Living Magazine a few years ago.
