Red Sox Pizza Party

Post by BostonFins »

The act of throwing perfectly good pizza is not funny, but the reaction of the announcers is too good.

DON'T EVEN go there........ i spent my first 16 years going to yankee stadium and saw more than a few things.

on the original remark... what is with that???? i think the dude was p*** at the fan down front for getting in the way so he threw his $6 slice of mediocre pizza. that's the only rational thing i could think of when i saw it last night. :o

I was with a group of Sox fans (all of us were wearing at least the cap) in Yankee Stadium during a Sox-Yanks game and a couple of the Yanks fans were threatening to kill us literally.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I had a Red sox fan swing at me without us ever having said a word to each other a few years back just because i had a yankee hat on.....I don't support the threats obviously but I've been threatened many times too...it happens both sides, be assured....

Tom, read what I said up there, there are no Angels on either side. As far as who is more violent, Red Sox fans celebrations have been FAR more violent than Yankee fans ones...There are violent obnoxious jerks on both sides for sure unfortunately...

Not saying we don't have our share of jerks, just responding to the fact that a comment was made (or implied) that only Red Sox fans are do these sort of things and Yankee fans are angels.

All I was implying was that this fan like many sox fans is a jerk. A yankee fan was not involved in the pizza throwing incident that this thread was about so why woud they even be referenced to? The fact that you took that to mean I am saying Yankee fans are angels ( which I in fact specifically said wasn't the case before you even replied at all in this thread) I can't control. Anyway, let's agree that there are many jerks on both sides and move on....It's only April, too early for us all to fight :)

no one died though thankfully which is not always the case at Red Sox celebrations unfortunately( Obvously we all agree that incident was awful).....anyway, I'm going to take my own advice for above and move on....It's not like anybody on either side will convince the other...
