I've never seen or heard anything about this. Is this a fictional set or just some sort of limited release deal?

I would be very weary of this since they say they want Paypal ONLY.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

that person has sold a ton of stuff...it almost looks like the Jimmy Buffett is printed on the plastic and not the box itself...buyer beware I guess

The set is listed as being from "Universal Music Company." Googled and came up with Universal Music Group with a link to Margaritaville.
The box set seems to ring a few alarms.
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!

No, this is a real item. I've seen it in Costco Warehouse a couple of times, along with several other sets by other MCA artists....

Just seems to me like they decided to rerelease the ones they still have hold of and cash in on the Buffett craze.

I'd be more wary if they wanted Money Order only. Many sellers only take Paypal, it's so much less hassle than having to wait for a check or money order to show up in the mail and then risk that the check is bad or the Money Order is phony.

I own those already, so I guess I need another copy. Plus I have two copies of B, B, B & B, so another box set isn't necessary either.

A friend of mine had a 6 box set CD and this is what got me really hooked on Buffett. This sounds like the same one, so it could be legit.

Why be weary? When I sell on Ebay, all I take is paypal. Much easier and smoother than having to deal with checks from strangers and waiting to see if it clears.

Because this isn't an item some of us even knew existed and I couldn't find much about it on the internet. And sadly, there are as many pirate sellers as legit sellers on eBay.

Sounds like something Universal did without asking Jimmy, since they originally released those albums and he was under contract, maybe they still own all the distribution rights for those albums? And as long as they send Jimmy his share of the money they're in the clear?

And if that's the case, wonder why Jimmy's not bought back the rights to those albums? Those are some of this best!
