I think the biggest problem is there are too many parents who are afraid to say no to their kids. The sooner they learn they can't have everything they want, the better off they'll be. Disappointment is a great character builder.buffettbride wrote:We use Mick Jaggar as a parenting tool. Until they learn more Rolling Stones songs and sing, "Hey, you, get off of my cloud." Having had to deal extensively with Risk Management after I fell at school (and I wasn't wearing flipflops) I understand why they dont' want them being worn there. Schools are in horrible shape and trip and falls are common due to the condition of the pavement...flip flops only exacerbate the chance of that happening.

This is outrageous!!!! They are trampling on these poor students fundamental rights!!! The U.S. Constitution clearly states that they have the right to bare toes, or limbs or arms or something of that nature.
Wait a minute, I think I'm getting my Rush Limbaugh rants wrong. Let me check my handbook.

We say, "What does Mick Jaggar say?"
They say (sing), "You can't always get what you want."
