You can still catch Tommy either on 105.7 the Hawk or occasionally at the Stone Pony. He still performs, just not like he did back when.
Still missing the Hooters, Robert Hazard and the Heroes, The Zebras......all from Philly.
The same thing happened when the record company dropped the Hero's. My favorite was John Eddy and the Front Street Runners! Is he still playing?
We saw Hazard solo about 11-12 years ago in Cape May and that was the last time I have seen any of them. What do you think of Jeffrey Gaines?

Not familiar with Jeffrey Gaines. I only keep tabs on Robert Hazard as of lately due to cousin was drummer in band. He still plays very seldom. I saw them last at the Brigantine Circle about 10yrs ago, maybe longer back.
I hear about John Eddie, but haven't seen him. I still laugh at fact that Dave Matthews used to play every Tuesday at Joe Pop's when I hung out there and now I can't even get a tix to see him !!!

AC will probably be a one-time only gig. Better get your game on while you can!

I'd say Just Do It!
Being a Philly boy and oweing my fam a trip I would love to do AC but it follows 2 extra looong weekends: B&B in NSB,FL and then Bahama's for our niece's wedding.
The venue is exactly the same as the HardRock Live in Hollywood (FL), saw Southside Johnny & the A'Jukes there and it was a blast, very intimate, so it'll be one helluva show.

Sleeping Cheap over the weekend in Atlantic City is not easy, but I found two reasonably good options for those on a budget....
1.7 miles from Boardwalk Hall is Quality Inn Casino City $139/night plus taxes
or 9 miles from the show, in Egg Harbor is the Holiday Inn Express. Its about a 15 minute drive from Boardwalk Hall, but looks like a pretty nice place for only $120, and breakfast is included.
