I got a room at the Chelsea Pub, which is only 8 blocks from the Boardwalk Hall, 2 beds & private bath, for $140.00 plus tax.

There is also a place called the Irish Pub that is suppose to be around the same price.

7Vegas, I think you're on the right track. I looked at Chelsea and Irish Pub and thought they both looked like a fun place to lay our heads. But, alas! , Mrs. Parrothead desired more "name brand" sleeping arrangements. Hope you have a good time at the Chelsea!
