I wanted to find out about this whole Harrahs show thing so I checked out JF's site sent him an email no response. So I decided to call the number on the site. Got the voicemail, left a message. About 10 minutes later I got a call from none other than John himself. Not his manager or etc...John, he told me that the Harrah's show he didn't realize was a private event and only the high rollers were available to go to the show. He apologized to me but told me that I should go to the show on Saturday at the Trump Marina and its a free show right on the dock.

Thought to share this as I thought it was nice of him to call me back personally. Now I might just go to the show on the deck instead of the Maloneys....Don't know yet though...
The only problem with that is the drive. The Marina is a 10 minute car ride from the rest of AC. If you go to Maloney's or another bar on the Island than all you have to do is walk.

Personally, I think that the marina is a better option for early afternoon... it is outside on the water, free admission and live music with JF and Fingers. Much better then being in an indoor bar.

I am heading to marina for the 2:00 show and will then catch a cab to the board walk at about 5:00 to hang at the beach bars.

Sounds like quite a few people will be at Maloney's. That's where I'll be... Think they'll let me bring the twister game in?? HAHAHAHA

That's pretty much what we're doing, too...wake up -> beach bars -> Marina w/ Fingers and Frinzi -> beach bars.

The only thing up in the air is Friday night. With Frinzi being a private gig on Friday night we were leaning toward Mac, but the 45 minute drive has us off that kick now. Looks like it'll be Buffett cover bands and reggae at the beach bars instead.

College Buddies ready to party!!

Post by parrothead007 »

My college buddies and I will be adding to AC Saturday and can't wait!!! So many options to choose from, I think we will check out the John Frinzi show at the Marina since it's free. Then head to beach bars and tailgate right on the beach by the ocean before the concert, what could be better than that!!!
Only that Sat. starts my week long vacation at the Jersey shore!!
Does anyone know if you can bring a cooler onto the beach and do your own tailgating? Would love to save some dough and bring my own beverages onto the beach if that's possible! Hope to meet some of the best fans in the world Saturday!!

I'm on the fence about Friday, but will def be there Saturday. My friend wants to spend time on the beach. I may just go to the bars and catch up with her later. I look forward to meeting a bunch of you.
