I wish not to think of such things. As far as I'm concerned Jimmy is gonna tour well into his 70's.
Although this summer schedule does seem particularly heavy. i just hope it's not a grand finale
of some sorts. Just in case, I'm going to 3-4 shows this year though!!!

When Jimmy calls it quits I'll be interested in:

-anyone else from the CRB that's touring

-Butch Walker

-Hootie and the Blowfish

-Ronnie Baker Brooks

-Any Buffett or Warren Zevon cover bands

Probably not, but it gives us something to hope for.

personally... I think we should do the next best thing.... I would have no problem if ampitheaters would just air his live concerts.... we could still tailgate.... still see a show... (hopefully the ticket price would go down  )..... probably the worst case of denial but I see it more like The Rocky Horror Picture Show ... we just keep going whether he's there or not... and if not an ampitheater than a drive-in - we just tailgate there all day and then watch a concert on the big screen. just a thought... but I really don't want to think about it now!!!!! Maybe 10 years from now...

Hopefully he will never stop touring but he'll probably want to slow down, I know I would. How about Jimmy a few months in Vegas each year? Or how about a BN convention each year where we can get together to party and tell lies? Personally what I'll do is listen to his concert replays as much as possible, set up the outside theater for the neighbors, cook some food on the grill and play Jimmy's concerts in my backyard.

Can't EVEN go there!

But, actually, I would finally be able to get some other things accomplished in my life!

Right now, I just think about which concert I'm going to next! :pirate: :pirate:

Jimmy's not the only act I go to see in concert so I'll keep doing what I do now, which is see a bunch of artists who pass through the NYC area. When JB stops touring I'll have a lot more money to spend on concerts since I rarely travel out of NY to see anyone else perform.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Jimmy will be my last concert ever.

Just kidding.

I agree with LIPH. There's ton of other bands I'll try to get to see once my disposable income isn't going straight into TM and Buffett"s pocket
