Sedona Help

Post by Catch&Release »

My fiancee and I were considering running away to the Caribbean or S Pacific to get married. Not anymore.

We both have family in Phoenix and it sounds liek the plan now is to bring the wedding to them. We're thinking now of a wedding for 50 people in Sedona, AZ in the Spring, just after Easter.

Is anyone familiar with Sedona? I like the way L'Auberge looks on the webpage. Anyone familiar with that resort? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
I don't want to live on that kind of island
No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.

i used to live in flagstaff - about 20 min away.

sedona is beautiful. also look at oak creek canyon. might be a little cheaper than sedona and it is just as beautiful.

i dont know much about that resort but i can ask around to my friends that still live up there.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

L'Auberge is top notch, can't go wrong there.

I'd feel bad for you, but I have no soul.....

If you like the spa resorts and have the budget you won't be disappointed in L'Auberge. It is really one of the best spa resorts in the USA. If money is tight or you don't like spa resorts then you might want to consider other places.

My wife and I just went to a wedding there. It was really nice. The ceremony was on the banks of little stream with ducks paddling by, the cocktail hour and reception were just behind where the wedding took place, also right on the banks of the stream. The setting is gorgeous, but there are some downsides. First the bathrooms are a little inaccesible, you have to walk up into the resort and use the bathrooms at the poolhouse. Second, the wedding and reception are on the banks of a stream as I said, but the opposite bank has houses/condos built almost right to the water line. Third . . . well that is actually it. Gorgeous location, the rehersal dinner was in the resort as well.

Congrats and good luck.
