read somewhere that if you add a little simple syrup to the mix, your drink won't get watery. haven't tried it -- don't let my drinks sit long enough to melt.
I've had great luck with my FCM, using only regular freezer ice. can't wait 'til summer!!

Been using mine a lot lately. Kids have been making slurpies and I've been enjoying hawaiian style shaved ice. I noticed if you don't put the lid on the top of the ice part, the thing won't operate. I couldn't figure out how it knew the top was off. My smart-ass 14 year old pointed out the switch in the back. I said, "Wow, that's smart." She replied, "Thats how they keep you drunks from hurting yourselves, Mom."

I just got my Frozen Concoction Maker. It was on sale at Kohl's for $199.99. I also had a 30 percent off coupon plus I had fifty dollars in Kohl's cash. Final cost 90$ plus tax. "Waitress I need two more boat drinks"
Now, does anyone have some good boat or virgin drinks? I am ready to give this thing a whirl.
