Yup, it really isn't fair that NYC gets another show even if it is for a great cause and Jimmy probably is doing it for free, or at the very least, much less than he would do a normal concert for. Add in the fact it is way out the price range of probably 99.9% of parrotheads and it is clearly just Jimmy showing favoritism towards the Northeast yet again.Triathlete-Parakeet2 wrote:Yep!! Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

It's not a "Buffett show". Read before you open mouth and insert foot.....Triathlete-Parakeet2 wrote:Yep!! NYC needs another show!
It's a gala event to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, a project for which the Stephen Talkhouse has been an ardent backer. Jimmy Buffett has agreed to perform to help raise money for injured servicemen and women. You know - the people who were injured defending your freedom:
Normally, I'd say something like "everyone is entitled to their opinion"... In this case, let me be blunt: Sit down and shut up.About the Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project is a not for profit, 501c(3), organization that provides comfort and aid to service members who have been severely injured in the current military conflicts around the world. For more information about programs and services to assist the wounded and their families, please visit our website at http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Nice short set
Was there last night. JB was supporting a good cause and we all should check out wounded warriors and the work they do.
5 songs first two by himself Cheesburger (requested by the honory) then Son of a Son then the Nancy Atlas band came out and they did Changes in Attitude and Margaritaville and JB said goodbye.
But of course everyone wanted more....... so they did Volcanoe.
I had the best table in the place closest to the stage. Video taped it (I stink at video) but will remember it forever.
