MARGARITAVILLE COZUMEL
The family and I are taking a cruise on June 11 that will be stopping in COZUMEL during the week. We are wondering if anyone has been to the Margaritaville in Cozumel and how far is it from the port that Carnival uses there. Nothing like a BUFFETT CRUISE, Tuesday in Key West and Wednesday in Cozumel. 2 Margaritavilles in 2 days.

Depends on which port your ship docks at. Worst case scenario, you'll be a 5-10 minute cab ride (if you dock at the South port). It's probably a 5 minute walk north from the port that's actually in the town of San Miguel. I believe the "in town" one is called Punta Langosta. Carnival uses both places, I believe.
I'll be there sometime next week too, probably Monday. I'm trying to avoid all the cruise traffic
Gonna take the ferry over from Playa del Carmen.

As previous poster said, it all depends on which pier your ship docks at. Ours was at the International pier, which was 3 miles away from downtown. Margaritaville is at the end (of town) closest to that pier though.
We did a cruise in April, the plan was 3 Margaritavilles in 3 days (Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel). We were on our way to the one in Cozumel when the skies opened up and we just hopped into a cab and headed back to the port. Boy was my daughter p***! She's only 10 and she was the one who wanted to spend our day in Ocho Rios at Margaritaville. Guess I've been raising her the right way!

WE MADE IT
Thanks for the help everyone. Two blocks from the dock in Punta Langosta in the rain but it was worth it. The band in the place was great and there was a guy running the show with dance contests, conga lines and other crazy things. We all had alot of fun, tequila and Corona. And one hint if you read this Jimmy, if you paint Margaritaville really big on the wall that faces the port the place will even be more crazy. It was'nt crowded at all. Next stop OCHO
