One thing though. I am really worried about the supposed tix that are waiting on us.

If anyone knows of 2 to 4 tix.............please let me know.

What makes them "supposed" tix? Buy online? Buy e tix?....Check the tix exchange...

Hi all....Just thought I'd do a community service...This is my copy of the MGM seating chart....You will notice a couple of arcs drawn in, these are distance from the stage arcs at 25', 50' and 100'. Note that these are horizontal distances only....so if you are up on the sides the distance will be greater as you will be viewing the hypoenuse of the triangle the angle of which increases with your height from the floor....Anyway ...you will also notice some small rectanges with numbers in them...these are also specific distances to the stage from that point of the venue...for instance there are 2 between section 104 and 102...they say 245 and 222 as in 245' for the upper one and 222' for the lower one....the back of the floor (or the first row of section L3 or L2 is 150'....Anyway...hope this helps....

ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!

I was in Vegas earlier this week and talked to some people that worked at the MGM. People checking room keys at the pool said they "thought" there was going to be a pool party prior to the concert but also said that they don't find anything out in advance and couldn't confidently say 100% that there was a party.

Next I went to the concierge desk and they said there WAS NOT going to be a pool party because the pool closes for the season the next day. She said the only party she knew of was at MVille. I hope she was mistaken and if anyone can confirm that she was, please post it. I was looking forward to coming up to the MGM after the street party at MVille. I'll keep digging for some further info.

If they don't have the party, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It used to be great years ago, but has gotten lamer and lamer in recent years....while the alley party at Margaritaville continues to get better each year. As long as the alley is open, the party is on!

We ate at Margaritaville as well and the alley party is confirmed ON! Still hoping for some poolside action though.

CAN'T WAIT for the show! I guess the BN gathering will be at Margaritaville like last year. I'm too lazy to read all the pages on the thread. If anyone has copies of those two books I've written, please bring them. I'd love to sign my name and write off the trip as business!

Entertainment questions that bother me so -

Nadirah's MySpace page still says she's appearing at Margaritaville that Friday night at 8pm (along with "members of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band"), but it's not on the Margaritaville calendar. Has anybody heard anything lately? If it's still a "go", do we need tickets or just show up?

Also, earlier in the year, Fingers Taylor was on the calendar at Hooters for that Thursday & Friday but has since dropped off it. Fingers' website doesn't list Las Vegas, nor does KD Moore's.

Anybody know anything? (I know, I know, loaded question...)
