Hmm...and the party the night before is called a (boat) bash... :o

I supposed the good news here is that I won't be the only guy in a (grass) skirt...

Speaking of the Daze Hotel, who else from BN is there? We're getting in tomorrow afternoon and going on the boat bash tomorrow night. I believe Chippewa is also, but wondering if anybody else is in?

Diane and I are also staying at the Daze Inn and will also be onboard for the Boat Bash. Hoping to arrive around 3 p.m. tomorrow.

PHriends.
I take it you're staying at the Days Inn on Carlton near what was Maple Leaf Gardens?
Not trying to play travel agent, but Yonge Street (just west of your hotel) can take you to fine shopping and dining areas at Bloor to the north and Dundas to the south.
More at:
www.torontotravelsecrets.com/yonge-street.html

Yorkville (off Yonge just north of Bloor; you can walk it) is popular with rock stars and actors shooting movies in Toronto:
http://www.bloor-yorkville.com/
Good patios for lunch - and the weather will be with you.

Musically "Yorkville, Ontario was Canada's San Fransisco during the 70's. The period also saw Toronto's folk scene flourish, serving as the melting pot for artists from across the country. ...... "
ie. Bruce Cockburn, Joni Mitchell...

There's a Jimmy connection in there somewhere.
Enjoy Toronto.

Thanx, AJ! I've been to Toronto many times, but I'm a total idiot when it comes to knowing where I'm going...or where I've been...so thanx for the travel tips!

We'll keep an eye for out for yas, Pineapple Jack. :D

Caly, the Daze Hotel is at Yonge & Carlton Streets. We'll leave the light on for ya. I'm told public transportation will get us from there to where we need to be...

I know our group is supposed to be hooking up with a Canadian PHC for some tailgating at noonish on Wednesday, but I don't have a location yet - however, I should know by the boat bash, if anyone's interested. Heading to Ontario Place from there around 3-ish, at last report.

Can't believe the adventure starts tomorrow... :o

Enjoy, Marty and others.
You have a full schedule of fun tickets.

Northern Harbour is worth the boat trip; the Toronto skyline, too.

I'm at a B&B on Seaton St., Barb took my room at the Days Inn. Planning on taking the streetcar to the show, probably walk down to the pier for the Boat Bash tomorrow.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow...

Kewl! Please ignore my PM, then. If you're looking for a cocktail before the bash, give us a buzz. Audra should be lurking about, also! :o

Thanx, Lori! Safe travels to you, as well.

(BTW, don't say "cruising" to people hoteling in the gay district - not that there's anything wrong with that)

We can't wait to see you again!! :D :D :D

I've stayed in that hotel lots of times and never noticed it was gay, but it was some time ago...
Yes, Thanks for the room Chip. I'll sleep well, I'm sure, after a night of pre-partying, concert partying and ---I hope--post partying!
See you all there on Wednesday!

Safe journey Snowp.
Let them know at the Daze that I may show up and I may have 7 extra tickets to the pre-party. So far I also have 2 lawn tickets to sell. :(

The pre-party tickets are also on sale at the door, but for $25. You might be able to get your $20 for them right there before people spend the extra $5.

...and I'll also have some extra lawn seats with me, if anybody's still looking.
