Landshark spotted in Chicago Area.
Finally, I found it at my little corner store in Plainfield whcih is not where I first expected to find it. I was actually quite surprised. I guess the store started carrying it last week. The store owner said he is moving more Miller Chill to Landshark right now. I forgot what I paid for it but being a convienence store odds are I paid too much.
Either way it was not a bad beer to me. It was very Corona-esque especially when I added the lime. It is smooth and easy. I figured like Michalob Ultra with a bit more flavor. It was a refreshing summer beer. I would buy it again but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
Enjoy!

The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

Well, now I'll at least be able to bring a six pack home with me in a couple weeks when I'm there. I've heard both extremes about that beer, so I'm just more curious than anything else.
Whether it's eventually available here or not makes no difference.
As long as CORONA is available here, all is right with the world.

Isn't Woodmans a great store? I go to the Kenosha one periodically.LonePalm1 wrote:I just had my first Land Shark Lager last night. Found it at Woodman's Market in North Aurora. Right off of I-88 and Orchard road.
I liked it alot. Looks like i'll be getting some of that to take to Tinley Park!

Probably! I did my part in Florida. I drank enough of it so that the entire nation could have it distributed!SoILPrtHed wrote:Does that mean the experiment is over and the Landshark can now flow nationwide? Here's hoping!
No, really, I'm a little excited it made it to Chicago and I don't have to figure out how to smuggle it there when I go to the concert!

Ummm, some of us actually LIKE this p*** water, and the more it sells, the faster it will get to those of us that are not fortunate enough to live in a place where it is already selling.NYCPORT wrote:Why is everyone dying to get this p*** water??? If you don't like it, fine, but why try and keep other people from trying it? If it sells well, is that going to have any impact on you? No, but for those of us that like it, the better the sales, the better our chances of it getting to our neck of the woods quicker.

I agree, Corona at any time is the best. However, I do like Guiness from time to time. I will only drink Budweiser if there is nothing else to drink, even warm chunky style milk comes before Bud.Wino you know wrote:As long as it's not any kind of "LITE" beer (or that Guiness crap), I can usually drink it without puking my guts out.
But sorry, CORONA is the best.
And Budweiser is the best domestic beer.
